I am not a stranger to the Parade Underwear and other “alternative” term product (where my menstrual cup fans?), So I jumped on the occasion of writing this guide. When you are on your term, to be dry and comfortable is the top priorities, so I decided every couple of these underwear through this lens.
I first tested all the underwear for the first fit, to determine if they were in size or not. This mostly included the abundance of trying them, wearing them under the pants to see how heavy or thinner they are and if you can see the panty lines.
Next, I experienced the absorbent to see if it was based on claims. Since it will take me more than a year to test each of them during my period, I developed a way to easily repeat my home lab (also known as kitchens).
I washed every pairs of underwear according to the label and the dry of the air. You would like to wash your period underwear before wearing any starch or other chemicals used in the manufacturing process. The air must be dry to protect the underwear absorption. Fabric Saphner or dryer sheets can be behind a film that does not allow moisture to pass.
Next, each couple’s li, I checked how many tampons worth of fluids could hold and convert the amount to millimeters. This is not exactly because the entire brand has some changes in the tempon, but in general, a regular tampon can keep 5 ml liquid.
I gradually put this amount of water on the underwear to see how quickly it was absorbed and if any water was leaked. I left them for 30 minutes and then checked how dry they were after absorbing the water. Some were just as wet as I started the test, the Enough to wear others comfortably was so dry.
I would be careful that this is not a great test. The menstrual fluid usually leaves your body slowly for a few hours, though some people face short gash throughout the day. Some of the underwear I experienced has not yet absorb the entire amount of water and/or leaked, but that does not mean that they will not work for your term. If your flow is stable over a day, the period underwear will have time to absorb it slowly, which will minimize the leak.
If you pass multiple phrases during your period or experience repeated gashing/floods, the duration can struggle to absorb the underwear fluid and make you feel dry.
