Edgar Survints / Android Authority
tl; drag
- Google’s file manager for Android is working to connect viewers for text files.
- The evidence was first published in the files by the Google version 1.8436.793259964.0 releases, but the tool is not yet active.
- When available, it should allow you to view text files and view copy data, but will not support edit.
Android, as a platform, was never designed to fit a size, and this is a huge part of his appeal. Some users never think twice about their phones’ file system all their lives, because they don’t really need it – but for those who care about where all their data lives, and how it is organized, we have a lot of file manager apps. These include files through Google, and we look like a new feature in Google’s own solutions by checking this week.
A good developer really knows his user, and we are getting the same kind of harmony with this search. Such a person who is likely to use the file manager frequently on Android may not be the developer himself, but he is probably the type of user who makes it easier to navigate the same circles. And that often means dealing with text file documents.
Instead of such a full text that you use from Google Documents or any other full-featured Word processor, which has font sizes and styling options, and all formatting elections that you can ever dream, simple ASCII text files tolerate to date, their wider compatibility is a great reason for their computer.
Given 1.8436.793259964.0 Release Blood changes through Google, we have identified the work on a basic audience for text files.
Although this is not yet accessible, we have been able to take this device a preliminary look. In practice, it is quite limited, but we are also not sure that it really needs to do something else.
Files will allow you to open text files and view them directly in the app. You can select the text, and copy it to the clipboard … and it’s about it. There is no search function here, and there are definitely no text entry or editing tools-this is to view text files, and may copy some of these lines. It may seem like an extremely useful addition to you to quickly test things like redemption files in the world, or rapid files. As we said: The gods here know exactly who they are making for it.
It is not that we can’t just open a text file in a dedicated editor app, or you can go with another file manager that already has a textwear built -in, but we will be very happy to see the files through Google.
