Gl.inet Slate 7 is exactly what I wanted on paper for a travel rotor, and it still has the ability to be very good. This travel rotor beautifully combines speed, security and compact simplicity in the same device. It contains a touch screen for dual 2.5 GBE ports, a built-in VPN, ease to navigate the UI on the ship, and it is all easily running through the USB-C, pulling any power.

Portable routers have gained popularity over the past years due to cyberself awareness, increasing remote works, and increasing number of people -driven devices. Portable routers can be helpful for quick connecting devices, distributing files between devices, providing a layer of security between public networks and your devices, and more.

GL.INet Slate 7: Pricing and Availability

    • Gl.ineint Slate on Amazon 7 129.99

You can occupy a GL.INet Slate 7 in GL 134.91, which is currently on sale at $ 149 at Glint.com. You can also find them through online retailers, including Amazon.com and Amazon.com.

Since this device does not have an internal battery, consider buying a portable charger to make this travel router even more mobile.

Gl.ineint Slate 7: Inboxing and First Feedback

When I inboxed this portable travel router, I was surprised by its compact size. Solid, blurred black casing helped maintain the light, which weighs less than just 300 grams. The front panel offers a touch screen, which is perfect for changing the settings, though I am concerned that it can be very easy and share the information I want to keep private.

Regardless of your opinion about this form, the function and performance of this unit is also quite impressive. The equipment is easy to connect, which has two 2.5 GBE ports, a USB-A port, and the USB-C port on the back, which makes physical contacts. This is particularly true because this device can power more than USB-C, which is the most popular cable in recent history. When connecting devices through Wi -Fi, they are sharp, especially for a small and portable unit, a decent limit, and easy to use.

As mentioned earlier, if you intend to travel frequently with this unit, it is worth considering a portable power station or a long USB-C cable. That way, you can position it where you want to plug in to a nearby shop whenever you want.

    Cypress

Wi – FI: 2.4 GHz (up to 688 Mbps), 5 Gig Herotz
Ethernet: Dual 2.5 GBE (Setting Wan/Lane)
VPN: Wire Guard 40 540 MBPS, Open VPN ~ 100 Mbps
CPU/RAM: Qualcomm Quad Core 1.1 GHz, 1 GB DDR 4, 512 MB Nand
    Strength: USB – C PD Support (5-12 V), ~ 6-8 W Draw

GL.INet Slate 7 is very sleek. It seems that if he had been in it, what would be the batsman taking and he needed a travel pocket rotor. Industrial design is compact and well manufactured, which can cause antenna connect if not used. There are all ports in the back section, including PD power input, double 2.5GBE ports, and USB-A 3.0 port. The front offers a touch screen that shows the pages as well, allowing you to see all the features and settings of Slate 7. From this place this unit creates an important potential flaw. The theory, anyone can catch it, or see it from afar, and what your SSID is, or even worse.

Outside, the design on this unit is extremely fast. I love that it can fall compactly, and I appreciate the overall maps. It’s so small that it can live without taking a lot of space in my bag, helping me forget that I have.

    GL.INet Slate 7: In use

I used this router for various purposes during my test. I have taken a coffee shop to connect all my devices (automatically.

In the scenario of coffee shop, I quickly and easily open the router and put it on the side, taking away my Encker Power Bank. Next, I pulled out my iPhone, and through a fellow app, I managed to join the coffee shop network with my slate. After that, my slate put my personal Wi -Fi, which is already connected. In addition, I activated a VPN through open VPN using the Prims Lab, which allowed me to connect back through my safe home office network. Now, when I pulled out my laptop, iPad, and my iPhone, I was able to see everything on my home network, when I know that I’m safe and thanks to the Prime and my GL Net Portable Router. Being this router also means that my devices are automatically connected to a network they recognize, which gives me more reason to keep such a portable router.

On tours, I relieve this portable router of all my devices, my wife’s devices, my children’s devices and more air. Staying in a hotel is now a snap to connect any device, whether for work or game. In addition, the ability to press a button and loop your home network is invaluable, from a small box.

As I briefly mentioned, one of the most important issues with this is that there are many ways to show more information than error when I want anyone to know in a coffee shop or in the lobby through a touch screen. It can be determined with a patch in the future, as it is a simple software test, but I also understand who they are going.

    GL.INet Slate 7: Final Decision

Whenever I work out of a famous network, Gl.inet Slate 7 has become an essential tool. This helps me stay safe while traveling and working, or staying safe, whether I am adding what I am adding is Plex and Netflix.

I wish there was a light software patch to hide the network settings from the screen. For more power providers, individuals would like to know that the device has a real Wi-Fi 7 with 6GHz channel. However, for my use, the 5GHz channel is sufficient.
