Today, Instagram has announced some new features, including a repost, which is primarily a Twitter retweet. You can post public rails and feed posts, and your posts will be recommended to your friends and followers in their feed. There will also be posts in a separate tab on your profile so that you (or anyone else) can always go back and review them.
Raps are collected in the original poster. So when your public rails and posts are posted by someone else, the followers of this person are recommended, even if they do not follow you. That way, you have a new opportunity to reach more and more people “whenever you create something worth sharing”.
You can add a note to any post by typing ‘thought bubble’ that once you hit the post icon appears on the screen.
Next, a feature that Instagram copied from Snap Chat, not Twitter – Instagram map. This allows you to choose your last active location with your friends. You can close it at any time, and open the map to view the content that posts your friend and favorite creator “cool places”.
Instagram has called it a “new, lightweight method of contact”. The sharing of the location is closed in terms of default, and you can choose who you share it with (friends, close friends, or just selected friends). You can choose not to share your location in specific places or with specific people.
If you use location sharing, your location is updated when you open the Instagram app or when you are running in the background. If you are a parent for a teenager, you can control their location sharing experience – if they start to share their location, you will get a notification, and decide whether they have access to location sharing on the map, as well as see who they are sharing their location.
Regardless of that you are sharing your location, you can see tagged content from location on the map, including rails, posts, and stories of the people you follow, as well as notes of the people you follow. It’s all available for 24 hours. You can find a map in the upper part of your DM Inbox. It is currently developing with “more global availability” in the United States.
Finally, there is a new friend tab on the rails, in which your friends talk or show recommendations from the mixture you started. Instagram says this will help you see who is making rallies and engaging with the people you most care about. ” Friends started rolling earlier this year, and they are now launching globally.
