    DJI Osmo 360 launches local 8K video recording in India, with 1 inch 360 degree imaging

    On Thursday, DJI Osmo 360 was launched in India and World Markets. The action camera comes with a 1 -inch 360 degree sensor, which allows it to record videos locally in 8K resolution. It has also been equipped with square HDR image sensor, which is said to be the first innovation in the industry. According to the company, DJI OSMO 360 has 128GB of built-in storage, Wi-FI 6, and indicators.

    The DJI OSMO 360 price starts at the euro 479.99 (about Rs 48,000) for standard scroll. These include OSMO 360 Action Camera, as well as OSMO Action External Battery Plus, OSMO 360 Protective Pouches, OSMO Lens Cleaning Cloth, USB Type C, USB Type CPD Cable (USB 3.1), and OSMO 360 rubber lens protector.

    In India, the company only offers adventure combo, which costs RS. 54,990 or euro 629.99 (about 63 63,000 rupees). The bundle includes all the accessories contained in the standard scroll, as well as two OSMO Action Multi -Functional Battery Cases, OSMO Adjistal Release Adapter Mount, and OSMO 1.2m Hidden Selfie Stick.

    DJI OSMO 360 is available for purchase by brand website and authorized retail partners.

    The DJIOSMO is equipped with 360 1 -inch rectangular HDR sensor, which is said to be the use of 25 % more sensor by eliminating the unused area of traditional rectangular sensor. It has a 1/1 inch CMOS image sensor with AF/1.9 aperture. The action camera has a high dynamic range of 13.5 stops and a large pixel size.

    Jointly, this upgrade DJI enables OSMO 360 to record videos in 8K resolution locally (FPS) locally. According to the company, it can also shoot for 100 minutes in 8K 30 FPS.

    Another feature of the action camera is single lens mode. It offers 5k 60 FPS flat video recording with 155 degrees (Field of View) FOV. Meanwhile, users can enable the Boost Video Fold to increase the FOV to another 170 degrees, but the video recording will be reduced to 4K 120FPS.

    DJI OSMO 360 also supports 4x slow motion video recording. Meanwhile, consumers can capture 360 degrees Steel photo in a 120 -megapixel resolution. The action camera automatically removes the invisible selfie stick from 360 degree footage without any manual modification, which provides the third person Point of View (POV). Yet the images are stored in the JPEG format, while OSV and MP4 (HEVC) formats are used for video.

    It comes with built -in indicators and sound control, which helps users control palm gestures or voice -based hands -free commands. The built -in storage is 128GB, of which 105GB are available. The storage is also expanded through a microSD card. According to the company, the action camera is operating temperature between 20 degrees Celsius and 40 degrees Celsius.

    The DJIOSMO 360 packs a 1,950mAh battery, claiming that it offers video recording of more than 1.5 hours at frozen temperatures. It can shoot 8k 30 FPS resolution for up to 100 minutes, while battery life can be extended to 180 minutes using OSMO 360 battery extension rod (separate sale).
