You get a 5GB of cloud storage space for free with Microsoft account, and if you cancel your subscription, you go back to the same thing. According to Microsoft, you will not be able to harmonize any new files unless you are over and pay. The current files will remain, but only in one reading state. You will not be able to send or receive email in Outlook.com, or may not even send teams messages with attachments.
Microsoft gives you six months time to decide what you do with the files in your One Drive account, after which this “May” (this word is again) decide to delete the files on Microsoft’s servers. Once they delete, Microsoft warned, they go forever. If you need these files, you need to download them and move them elsewhere (One drive client for Windows and Macos can help here).
Unlike Google, Microsoft treats its cloud storage and email storage services separately. If you pay monthly 99 1.99 (in the upper part of the other 100 GB) you get 15GB of cloud space for free, and 100 GB. If you are over your limit, you cannot send or receive an email, so you will need to clean your inbox to resume.

You can harmonize your dropbox files in Windows or MacOS using desktop clients.

We can’t cover every cloud storage service in this article, but here’s another: dropbox. Dropbox users get 2GB of storage space free in the cloud, and then paid projects start 999.99 every month for 2 TB space.
If you store more than 2GB of files in your dropbox, and then turn off the payment, nothing happens to these files: they will stay in the cloud and on your compatible devices. However, you will not be able to add new files, and the clouds will not be compatible with the changes locally in the files.
There is no date for your files either ending – they will be permanently as if they are permanently. The dropbox wants to encourage users to sign up for another compensation project where you can pick up for another paid project under the line where you have left where you have left.
You can use a dropbox client for Windows and Macos for syncing files from Cloud to your computers, and from there to other locations and backup services. Once the files are expelled or deleted from your dropbox folder on your computer, they will be removed from the cloud.
