- The Samsung Display has confirmed that the Galaxy Z Philip 7 folding screen stability is equal to the Galaxy Z Fold 7.
- It has been revealed after the company revealed that the screen of the Z -Fold 7 can better cope with the temperature.
- This means that the folding screen on both phones is significantly more durable than their predecessors.
We asked the Samsung Display whether the Galaxy Z Fold 7’s screen stability data were applied to the Galaxy Z Philip 7:
In response to your follow -up question, the flagship model, on the test released by the Bureau Veritas (SIC), was specially performed on the foldable panels used in the Galaxy Z Fold 7. However, we indirectly evaluate that foldable panels used in the Galaxy Z Philip 7 also offer equal stability of fold 7, which has different stability-infinix fit.
In other words, only the Galaxy Z Fold 7 folding screen has 500,000 folds, -20 degrees Celsius (-4 degrees Fahrenheit), and 60,000 degrees Celsius (140 degrees Fahrenheit) at 300,000 folds. However, the Samsung display comments suggest that the Galaxy Z Philip 7 folding screen should get similar data if it is formally tested.
The Galaxy Z Folds 7 represents an important step for the Samsung Foldables. Samsung had previously revealed the figures of the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Z Flip 5, revealed that its 2023 foldable was a 200,000 folds at room temperature, only 30,000 folds -20 degrees Celsius, and 150,000 degrees Celsius. So while Fold 7 (and obviously Z. Philip 7) has a dramatically low life in cold conditions, it is still a great improvement than the previous Samsung Foldables.
