Today, Google has once again updated the AI format in search. On desktop browsers, you can now ask complex questions about photos (which was already available in the Google app), and “In the coming weeks” you will be able to upload the PDF to the AI format and ask detailed questions about them. Google says “AI mode will analyze the contents of your file and refer to it with web -related information so that a helpful AI will be answered, as well as prominent links so that you can dig a deep”. Extra file types will be supported “in the next months”.

Next, Canvas this feature “helps you plan and arrange information on numerous sessions in the dynamic side panel that get updated while you go.” The AI mode will add things together in the canvas side panel and you can use followups to improve the output unless it meets your needs. You have an upload feature soon to add context from files. Canvas lands “in the coming weeks” for US users who enrolled in the AI -Mode Labs experience.

The search live video is rolling input, and it is fully integrated with Google Lens, so you need to open the lens in the Google app, then tap the icon directly, and ask for whatever you want to identify your camera on something. You can have a direct conversation with AI format here with the help of the visual context of your direct camera feed. This week for users who enroll in the AI Mode Labs experience, this week is underway on mobile in the United States.

Google Search's AI format gets a bunch of new features

In Chrome, with lenses and AI mode you can ask and know what is on your desktop screen, whether we have a website, PDF, or anything else you are seeing in the browser. And soon, when you click on the Chrome address bar, you will see a new option for “Ask Google about this page” in the dropdown menu. Once you ask him something, you will find AI review with a key information snapshot in the side panel, and “this week” you will find more questions through AI mode by selecting the AI format in the search results or by clicking on the “Divers Depth” at the bottom of the AI review.
