A month after Samsung unveiled the Ecinos 2500 SOC, ZNET Korea has reported that the company has developed a custom component manufactured using copper that will be connected to the semiconductor package. The publication also claims that these improvements will help the company improve the performance of the successors in the Samsung Galaxy S25 series of smartphones, which is equipped with Customs Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy chips from Qualcomm.
According to the report, the South Korean tech party is developing a way to introduce a new heat pass block (HPB) component inside the semiconductor package for the 2600 chip. Testing for the chip is expected to be wrapped by October.
Placing the material near the chip can allow more efficient heat consumption than a mobile processor, and can help solve high heat problems, which have caused many chips from the company. The company currently uses the Package on Package (POP) and fan outwear level packaging (FOLP) for former Xinos processors.
This is not the first time the details of Excenos 2600 were seen online. The chasset was recently seen in the form of an internal device on the Gack Bench, called the S5e9965 code. He scored 2,155 and 7,788 points on single -core and multi -core tests respectively. These Snapdragons are slightly lower than the score achieved by 8 Elite, which strengthens most handsets in 2025.
However, the recently leaked 3DMark benchmark scores required by the Acenos 2600 SOCGPU shows that the incoming chip set can defeat Snapdragon 8 Elite SOC in GPU’s performance. However, it is worth noting that Qualcomm is expected to launch its next -generation Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 in September, so in the next two months, Ecinos can be a more powerful rival in 2600.
