- Google’s AI format is getting a large number of new features on mobile and desktop.
- AI format on mobile gets a direct video search option, which is accessible through Google Lens.
- On the desktop, AI mode gets file support and canvas option to take notes while research.
Google’s AI mode is slowly moving beyond the search and has recently reached other apps used to find information on your phone, including Google Lens and Circle to Circle. By doing so, it is also eliminating the difference between Gemini and AI mode by adding similar features to the search experiments. And today, Google is formally expanding the AI format capabilities, which are bringing features features to improve output and enable cooperation.
First, Google is bringing a significant gymnasium’s ability to the AI format, where you can share the video directly for further context and detailed response. Like Gemini Live’s video capabilities, you will be able to communicate with AI mode in real time and even interfere with it when interfering.
And because of the similarities, it is called search live and it will be accessible by Google Lens. For a few months, the search is available directly as part of the labs experiences directly in search and will soon be wider.
Large upgrade to AI format on desktop
Google, Google, is focusing on other new features in the AI format. AI mode is getting better documents support on the desktop, so you can upload files, including PDFS, and AI format with the help of titles. Google has suggested this because another method that students can use to better learn about themes. In addition to uploading files from your computer, you will be able to access files directly from your drive.
After that, while the photo uploads were first limited to AI mode on mobile, functionality is now spreading to the desktop version. Google has not mentioned whether the video capabilities will be extended to the desktop, so we have to wait until the update AI mode is eliminated.
In addition to better input options, AI mode also has other gymnasium features, including canvas. Like its utility in Gemini, the canvas appears in a one -side panel, where it can be used as a separate place where you can produce reactions, take answers, and then choose specific parts to edit or enhance them.
Google says canvas will be a valuable assistance for students or working professionals in conjunction with the file upload functionality, which will be a valuable assistance for students or working professionals to work on assignments and reports.
Finally, Google will soon make access to the lenses on Chrome’s desktop version with a new feature in the address bar. It will add a new button, which you “ask Google about this page.” You will be able to extend your search directly from the webpage using a dedicated sidebar for the AI format as seen below:
Although the utility of better lenses is not close to complete agent browsing, it indicates the expected change of chrome towards the web browsing with the help of chrome in the coming months or years.
These features will slowly start US consumers. Search live is coming this week and will be available to those who were using it as an experimental feature in the AI format. File uploads will be available in the coming months, while Canvas will be added to AI mode as a lab experience in the next few weeks. Finally, Google has not explained the release timeline for access to better lenses in Chrome, but says it will be “soon” available.
