5G phones have been in the market for five years, and I clearly remember how the whole industry affected the tech. From industrial applications and remote surgery to unexpected progress and cars that talk to each other, companies have breathed breath how the 5G will change the world.
Is 5G Hype alive?
More than 4,500 votes were counted, and it turns out that the majority of the respondents believed that 5G was more hype. In fact, more than 85 % of voters voted like this.
This is not surprising, as companies are consistently increasing 5G incredibly. One of the most notorious examples was that it was repeatedly claiming that remote surgery could be possible through 5G. It also had other pies in the Sky claims, such as a traffic light equipped with your 5G car MMVO, downloads 100 GB in just a few seconds. And, of course, is my favorite way to promote 5G, as countless executives have said that 5G can enable use issues that we can’t even imagine.
The results of the real world show that 5G has improved the speed and delay, but there is nowhere to the industry claims. In addition, geographical coverage is still a problem outside the urban areas.
Otherwise, 7.2 % of the respondents said that 5g had been alive, while 7.5 % said they were not sure. I am not sure I understand why people voted for the former. I can understand if your expectations are low. I can also understand whether you lived in an area that has poor 4G coverage with a healthy 5G signal now.
Then once again, readers Xenokc-Ads rightly note that the capacity was an advantage:
What the carriers got was more capable. If not 5G and not everyone is still on the LTE, then we will either have very little speed or very harsh hats with potentially unlimited projects available. This is not just because more bands were added using 5G. The same amount of the same amount of spectrum for the same band in 5G has almost double double capacity (through spectrous performance). 5G was over -hypide but it was still necessary.
It is worth noting that readers still thought that it was excessive. However, 5G also had to address the network crowd. I can confirm that after attending the concert in January, 5G has not resolved the issue properly.
