Qualcomm’s new flagship application processor (AP), Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2, is expected to provide electricity to the Line of the Line of the Line Galaxy S26 Ultra when the phone is released in late January or early February next year. However, a fresh rumor shows that two Galaxy S26 Ultra Owners can have different experiments with their phones that depend on the foundry that has strengthened the Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2 application processor (AP).

If your Galaxy S26 Ultra can run faster than mine if Qualcomm Dual Source Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2

Thinking is a strange situation Galaxy S26 Ultra In my hand you can run more than one faster, and provide a better battery life, though the AP that both are using is the same. Without trying to repeatedly sound, the difference will be in the foundry that created two chip seats and the process node used by each. In simple English, Qualcomm is rumored to use “double source” for Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2, which means that some APSTSMC and some will be made by Samsung Foundry.

Posting on the Chinese social media site, Webu, the tipster digital chat station says that the Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2 -AP’s Samsung Bullet version has not yet been canceled. If true, at this time, we are looking at two different forms of chip. The TSMC will produce a chip set using its third -generation 3NM process node, which is the same process that TSMC will use to build A19 APS for the upcoming iPhone 17 series.

On the other hand, the Samsung Foundry will use its 2NM Gate All-As Pass (GAA) process node, which will ideally improve the 3NM version of TSMC chipset. The reason for this is that as the process node numbers fall, the size of the transistors also works. Small transistors mean an increase in transistor density, which usually measures the number of transistors in dye per square mm. This means that a chip takes a more transistor in a particular area.

Transster density data is important because as this number increases, it usually means that a foundry can tie more transistors to a given place, which means small transistors are being used. Small transplants use low strength, use switch status faster, and reduce the cost of preparation for per function.

The Samsung Foundry also has another advantage as its 2NM process node includes the use of GAA transistor architecture, resulting in gates around the channel all four sides. This reduces the current leak and improves the drive current, resulting in better performing APS that uses less power.

Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2 pricing Snapdragon is no more than the cost of 8 Elite. A portion of this is due to the use of Qualcomm its 3NM process (despite its third generation version), and the use of the Samsung Foundry. This can be a huge thing for the latter, which has a market share in the industry of only 7.7 % in the industry compared to 67.6 % of TSMC (both personalities Q1 2025 marks). Also, it would be a positive sign that the Samsung Foundry has been able to improve its horrific production data and can reach its goal of up to 50 %.

Qualcomm can copy Apple next year with your flagship app

Whatever happens to Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2, there are speculation that Qualcomm will copy Apple next year and Snapdragon will offer two different versions of Elite General 3. Charges for its 2 NMVERS through TSMC with a much higher price, a pricing, Snapdragen is a more cutting version of the use of 8 Elite General 3, which will be used in 2027 S27 series. The Non -Premium version of the AP may have been made by the Samsung Foundry using its 2 NM process and will reduce the speed and less of the CPU and GPU clock.

Samsung Foundry’s Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2 is rumored to have a model of SM 8850s and its code is ‘Canopali S’. The Snapdragon 8 Elite General 3 “Pro” can have a model number of SM 8950, in which the “Nan Pro” model carrys many SM8945.

Is Qualcomm Dual Source Snapdragon 8 Elite General 2? As soon as we have updates, we will tell you.
