- A new report reinforces the previous iPhone Fool Leak about the 5.5 -inch cover screen and the 7.8 -inch internal display.
- The outer screen will be smaller than the first generation pixel fold and a Galaxy Z fold is a complete inches smaller than 7.
- The iPhone fold is not expected to launch before the second half of 2026.
We have been listening to a foldable iPhone for a long time, and it seems faster that 2026 can last year. But if the latest iPhone Fold Display leak is correct, Apple’s carrying on the outer screen can surprise for some users.
In a report on the Foldable Phone Market, the TrandFouris expects Apple to launch its first foldable in the second half of the next year, with a 7.8 -inch internal display and a far smaller 5.5 -inch core screen. Its lines are closely with a leakage in February, pointing to a 7.74 -inch foldable panel and a 5.49 -inch exterior display.
This small outdoor screen rumors make the iPhone according to devices like the original Pixel Fold or Oppo Find N2, both famous for their compact core display. Although this can make the phone easier to use one hand, it also means sacrificing some fast access functionality. It is even smaller than the 5.8 -inch outer screen of the first -generation pixel fold, and is especially behind the 6.5 -inch display on Samsung’s latest Galaxy Z Fold 7.
Other details of the rumors suggest that Apple can practically prefer, which includes a side -mounted fingerprint scanner instead of facial identification and dual 48 MP cameras. A custom titanium and liquid metal constipation are also expected, which helps keep the device sustainable without adding over weight. We have heard conflicting reports about the potential price, but with more than a year and about the international trading environment, perhaps someone is estimated at this stage.
One thing that is clear is that expectations are already high, and the final launch date will still be higher. By the second half of 2026, Apple will need to create something special to meet them.
