Right now, there is an ancestral WhatsApp app to run Windows for laptops and PCs. It has a lot of features and it looks great. But, apparently, the app may even deteriorate due to Meta’s future development decision.

Meta has indicated that the ancestral WhatsApp app for Windows will no longer be available, and it will be converted into a web rapper. It is primarily a web app that is packed to look like a Windows app.

WhatsApp’s latest beta contains some major changes that may be coming to a stable version of the app soon.

One is that the app will look different than what was done before, and unfortunately (at least for now), it is working more slowly. It is possible that it will eat more ram, and at the top of all, the information will not be as good as they are on the Windows app.

Fortunately, this is not just bad news. The web -based app will also bring a new feature, channels. With this version of the app, channels will be accessible on your Windows PC or laptop. Also, the highest functionality of status and communication is also likely to come with the web -based app.

WhatsApp’s ancestral Windows app was launched back in 2022. Meanwhile, it will be easier to maintain for the web version meta, so this is probably a reason why Tech Dev has decided to change it. This would mean a low platform to maintain the worm.

In the meantime, it is also likely that the company can perform high use of Ram and somewhat slowly by the company before the web -based app’s stable release. We have to wait and definitely know.

Meta has not explained when the change will be done right now.
