Samsung’s new Galaxy Z series is a hit. The way analysts have predicted, it has set a new record for pre -order of foldable devices in South Korea.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Philip 7 (and probably The Z Philip 7 per) saw 1.04 million pre -order a week, which spanned July 15 to 21. It topped the previous record set by Z5 Generation’s Z5 generation of 1.02 million pre -orders. More importantly, it defeats last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Philip 6 pre -orders from solid 14 % (which manages 910,000 pre -orders).
Galaxy Z Fold 7 saw more pre -orders over Z Flip 7
Through the report Etnews Some interesting figures contain. For example, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is now the most popular model, which accounts for 60 % pre -order registered with three major carriers: SK Telecom, KT and LGU+. The per -model is not clearly mentioned in the report, so we do not know how the remaining 40 % are divided between two flips.
For context, the last year was 60/40 divided in favor of Z Philip 6. And in 2023, the space was more wide with the 70/30 division in favor of Z Flip 5. This is the first time that the fold has changed.

Earlier this year, the Galaxy S25 phones already have a record for order and a record for foldable in the country.
