Yogin has announced what he claims “the world’s first Qi 2.2 certified power bank” that can carry wireless charge devices at a speed of up to 25W. Most wireless chargers in the United States are currently more and more in only 15W power delivery, but the Urigan Meg Flow Magnetic Power Bank will move it to 25W, which is similar to its iPhone 16 lineup last September as well as the updated magassaf charger at Apple speed.
The 10,000 mAh meg flu magnetic power bank has a built-in USB-C charging cable that shows an additional USB-C port, and a small screen to charge multiple devices at the same time, not in use, rather than withdrawing. However, since the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) has not yet finalized the QI2.2 standard, Yogin has not provided specific details about when its new power bank will be available in addition to the launch of Q3 2025. The company is not yet ready to talk about prices.
Companies like Apple and Google have found ways to further advance the charging speed of Q2 devices and chargers, but it is expected that Q 2.2 quality speeds will exceed 50W.
We will see how once it is really available, how compares wired charging options, however, all charging rate device and its battery safety goes up and down in a cycle, and avoiding more heat. Other improvements that come with Q 2.2 standards include alignment and reliability, improving power generation, the use of strong magnets that can be dynamically adjusted, and safety properties, including better foreign object detection.
