When Apple released iOS 15 in 2021, the operating system brought a hidden feature to your iPhone called background sounds. It allows you to turn your phone into a white noise machine, and you can play these sounds yourself or under a podcast, music or video streaming app.
When Apple first introduced this feature, there were six piles of sound to play on a loop: rain, stream, sea, bright, balanced and black noise, which are different pitches of white noise. When Apple released IOS 18 last September, it added two voices to this feature: night and fire. So instead of buying a white noise machine, save yourself some money and just use your phone.

How to enable the background sounds on your iPhone.
How to compose background sounds on your iPhone
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Juice.
3. Tap Audio and visual.
4. Tap Background sounds.
5. Tap the next toggle Background sounds Near the upper part of the menu to enable the feature.
In this menu you can also tap Volume To hear different noise options. If you are using this feature for the first time, the sounds have to be downloaded, so it may take a second. There are two more toggles in this menu: Use when the media is playing And Stop the sounds when the lock. Tapping the next toggle Use when the media is playing When you watch the video or listen to the music, you play background sounds. And tapping the toggle forward Stop the sounds when the lock It ensures that the sounds of the background will be closed when your device is locked. If you do not have this active, the sounds will continue to move when your device is locked.

How to access the background sounds from the Control Center
Each time you want to turn on the background sounds, instead of finding settings, here is how you can set the toggle in the control center to change the feature to use on your iPhone.
I like the rain but the fire and the night are pleasant too.
1. Open Control center.
2. Tap on Plus (+) sign in the upper left of your screen.
3. Tap Add a control Near the bottom of your screen.
4. Tap Listening Ear icon to add to the control center.
Once the hearing is in the Icon Control Center to control the hearing, tap it to see the three options: speaker, background sounds and directly. Then tap the musical notes forward Background sounds To turn on the feature. You can also tap on the words Background sounds To select a different background sound as well as open the menu to adjust the volume.
Use a leak shortcut for background sounds
You can also configure a Raspent shortcut to turn on or off the background sounds from your home screen or inside an app. This is how to set it up.
1. Tap Settings.
2. Tap Juice.
3. Tap Risk shortcut.
4. Tap Background sounds.
Now when you press the side button three times on your iPhone, the background sounds will turn on. You can tap the button once again to close the button.
