Now that Samsung has passed with two thin phone release, it has set up Apple for a major revelation this fall with the iPhone 17 air. Personally, I have not been shocked through the Galaxy S25 Edge and the Galaxy Z Fold 7, despite their very thin designs.

All rumors around 17 Air rumors of the iPhone give us a good idea of what to come in September when Apple usually announces its new iPhone lineup, but the company can learn a lesson from Samsung’s journey. Whether Apple’s new device ends after being called iPhone 17 Air or iPhone 17 Slim, I just hope that Apple Samsung can avoid the losses made by its thin phone release.

Naturally, designing any phone to be more extraordinary than anything is its own engineering challenge – but it is quite different to persuade people to get this device. Apple needs to do the best phone contender with the iPhone 17 Air.

I am not confident about this because you have to remember that designing and finalizing a design can happen a year ago, which makes it understood that companies need to be in line with suppliers and manufacturing partners. So far, rumors suggest that Apple is going on the only camera route as happened with the iPhone 16E.

Meaning, the iPhone 17 is expected to bring the same 48MP camera to the back of the airphone. Such a camera can double the zoom lens through a pixel bining technique known for Apple. But still, a single shooter will mean less utility than a double camera setup in the Galaxy S25 Edge.

At this point, I suspect we will see an ultra -wide shooter on the iPhone 17 Air for the completion of the central, but I hope the new phone gets the main camera like the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max – up to the sensor size and lens aperture.

    Speeding charging speed

As I have indicated in my Galaxy S25 Age Review, the biggest compromise in designing a thin phone is that the battery life has been shortened. The Galaxy S25 Edge lasted less than 12.5 hours on our battery drain test-better results but nothing is surprising-and I am not sure that the Galaxy Z Fold is about to spend a long time than the previous Z Fold 6.

Surprisingly, rumors point to 2,800 mAh battery for iPhone 17 air. Galaxy S25 Edge is largely dip compared to a 3,900 mA battery, so unless Apple is able to maximize its A19 chip, I really suspect that it continues up to the iPhone 16E, which is fine on our test but has not come close to the best phone battery life.

Apple needs to do a job that Samsung failed to do with his two thin phone release, which has to increase its charging speed. Neither the Galaxy S25 Edge or the Galaxy Z Fold 7 has increased, so Apple needs to meet its smaller battery capacity by giving the iPhone 17 air a sharp charging speed. I am hoping for at least 30W charging speed, but it would be even better if Apple somehow pushed it to 45W.

    Prices make all differences

I understand that battery life is always a compromise for any thin phone, but what Apple needs to avoid is to repeat the memory of Samsung in its thin phone prices. The logical (and smart) work Apple can do is to make the iPhone 17 just like its previous plus models near the same price.

I think it would be suspicious to cost $ 799 for the iPhone 17 air, but other sources have indicated that it may be less than $ 89999. The Galaxy S25 Edge is paid higher in my opinion at $ 1,099, especially when you consider how $ 200 separates it from the Galaxy S25 ultra. On the contrary, Apple can shoot itself in the foot if it makes the air more expensive than the current iPhone 16 Pro Max, which costs $ 1,199.

Regardless, Apple needs to review the iPhone 17 air prices carefully if it wants to avoid Samsung’s memory. With a small battery and the only rear camera, trying to persuade people that the iPhone 17 wind costs more than the Pro model, which will guarantee non -timely death.
