The Tech Dev’s Cloud Computing Platform is allegedly planning to launch a market for Amazon Web Services (AWS) artificial intelligence (AI) agents. According to the report, the company can launch a marketplace next week at its AWS Summit event in New York, which will take place on July 15. San Francisco -based AI firm, Entropic, is called a partner for this new service. Along with this, AWS will allow its users to search, download and install AI agents created for direct use issues.
AWS to launch AI Agent Market next week
According to a Tech Crunch report, Cloud Computing Dev is adding AI agent to the market as a new service for its enterprise users. Referring to unknown persons familiar with the matter, the publication claims that the marketplace will be launched July 15 during the AWS Summit event in New York.
This market will allegedly allow developers and startups directly to their AI agents to introduce businesses that use AWS. The report added that this new platform will allow AWS users to browse, find and install AI agents from a single interface. It is said that consumers can find agents based on their functionality.
Although the report mentions anthropic as one of the partners of this service, it did not mention the role of the AI firm’s role. However, it is likely that Anthropic will also listen to its AI agents on the platform.
Many details about this market are not currently known. For example, it is unclear whether the platform will have a subscription -based revenue model or it will follow the à La Karti style payment system. The revenue system is also not known for the developers and startups to offer their AI agents. Another question is whether this AI agent can work inside the local network or have to be connected to AWS all the time.
In particular, AI agents are mainly large language models with the use of tools that can be done autonomously. These agents can not only help humans in their work, but also take steps freely.
