The telecom operator announced on Friday that Vodafone Idea (VI) has served 5g in Mysore. A month after the company introduced 5G services in Bangalore, it announced that users with 5G smartphones in Mysore would have access to unlimited 5G data as part of an introductory offer. The telecom operator is behind its biggest rivals. Airtel and Reliance Geo first started their 5G services in selected cities in October 2022, which expanded several other cities in the later years. As a result, VI may take several months (or years) before catching its rivals.
