    • Samsung’s Multicaster app now offers the so -called Philip Shot feature on the Galaxy Z Philip phones.
    • This feature will show “stylish images and messages” on the core display when you are taking selfies with the back cameras.
    • Good lock app allows users to add custom image to their core screen, but we are not sure what that means.

Samsung has just launched the Galaxy Z Philip 7 series and the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which is the first galaxy devices with an UI 8 upgrade. Now, the company’s old foldable is getting a cover screen upgrade thanks to good lock.

Samsung updated his Multiuster module with the so -called Philip Shot feature (H/T: Semigoro) For the Galaxy Z Philip phone. When you take selfies with the back cameras, this feature shows “Stylish images and messages on the cover screen of Philip Device”. See our screenshots below.

I am not sure about the purpose of this feature, but I am guessing that it is just a fun to promote a selfie shot experience with graphics, chassis one liners, selfie indicators, or excitement prices. In fact, it can also serve as a simple alternative to Google that you see features on its Pixel 9 Pro Fold, which shows beautiful characters so that you can get the attention of the little ones and pets. Otherwise, it also brings an UI 8 support update.

Meanwhile, the latest version of Good Lock (version 3.0.13.1) now allows you to set a custom image on your foldable phone’s core display. We are not sure what is new here, because folded devices already allow users to compile different wallpapers for each display. In addition, Samsung already supports custom photos on the cover screen of Philip phones.

In any case, Samsung has brought many new features in good lock in 2025. These additions include the maximum custom home screen, the ability to recreate the gamepad, the ability to directly occupy the USB-C storage, and more one-handed indicator options.
