This is a great time to buy a new TV during Amazon Prime Day (or, DayRather), but this does not mean that you should consider only 2025 models. You can get a big exemption without having to compromise on last year’s models. For example, the best 2024 Samsung S90D OLED is available for its lowest price.
The 65 -inch S90D is available for less than $ 1,200 on both Amazon and Best Bye, while the 55 -inch model is less than $ 1,000 in Amazon. If you want to go with something bigger, Amazon and Best Bye have a 77 -inch model only less than $ 1,800.
Samsung S90D is a QD -led, which uses quantum dots above the OLED layer to create a bright and more colorful dynamic image than traditional OLED designs. The blasts in movies and TV shows explode with crisp and orange, skin heads look more natural, and since it is OLED, the light is controlled on a pixel level, which allows deep, ink calls.
Samsung has also invested in making all its TVs, including S90D, great for gaming. It has a 144hz ancestral refresh rate panel, supports Fresnik, and is in line with G-Sink for high refresh rate gaming on PC. Modern consoles can go up to 120 herts – not blaming Samsung, this is the range of console. When you are gaming, its auto -latiosis feature will convert TV into game mode to ensure that the input interval is the lowest. The Samsung Gaming Hub also puts all your gaming content in a place, which is among others through the Xbox Game Pass Pass Pass Ultamite Subscription, NVIDIA GeForce Now, and Amazon Luna for Cloud Gaming. The resolution and reaction through the cloud game streaming will not match local gaming, but the freedom to play without console is a great benefit.
There are some frustrations with S90D that you should consider before buying. Tzin OS is a bit burdened to navigate, often requires multiple button presses to get other TV (input is the biggest criminal), but all built -in apps are fine on the home screen. Some niche apps, such as F -1 TV, are not available on Tusns. The S90D does not support dolby vision, rather than select HDR10+ as a dynamic HDR format.
The 2025 model, Samsung’s S90F, has a slightly better processing than S90D and it is bright, but it does not even have enough discounts we are seeing on S90D (you can get 77 inch S90D for a 65 -inch S90F price). The slight improvement of the S90F does not justify their significant price difference. Unless you are incredibly sensitive to FOMO, S90D is a great purchase during Prime Day.
