The OnePlus Nord Series brings some of the features visible on the company’s high -end smartphones, as well as additional hardware upgrades in last year’s models. This year, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 has brought a more powerful processor and a huge battery than last year’s Nord CE4 model. The handset is also equipped with the features of some One Plus AI software. It competes with phones like IQOO Z10, Motorola Edge 60 Fusion, Infinix GT 30 Pro, and Vivo T4.

One Plus Nord CE 5 Design: Looking good, easier to grip

The OnePlus Nord CE5 review unit that the company sent is blue, and it looks good at different angles. The back panels and the edges are made of plastic. Like its predecessor, the handset also has a dual rear camera island located in the upper left corner of the back panel, but the LED flash is now located on the right side of the camera module.

One Plus has equipped this handset with the same speaker, on the bottom edge of the phone, with the USB Type C port and the SIM tray. The OnePlus Nord CE5 has a selfie camera located at the upper center of the 6.77 -inch screen, which has many thin bells.
The volume is located on the right edge of the rocker and the power button. There is no alert slider or plus key on the left edge. Although One Plus Nord 5 is an infrared transmitter on the upper edge, it is located between two back cameras on Nord CE5, so the back panel will face the device you want to control. The phone sends a ship with a TPU core, a charger, and SIM Educator tool.

Oxygenus 15 on One Plus Nord CE 5
The version of Oxygenos 15 on the One Plus Nord CE5 is smooth and responsible, and there is no problem in running more than six apps in the background. Switching between apps is smooth, and only once I saw that a little hesitation day was using the phone at a warm day, while using GPS navigation on Google Maps.
I saw the installation of Amazon, Credit, and Candy Crash Saga during the setup process. If you have forgotten to select these boxes, you can install these apps after setting the phone. I did not feel any other unwanted apps or blotware on the phone. It offers the same software experience as the most expensive One Plus Nord 5.
Nord CE5 offers help for new One Plus AI features
You can also access the new One Plus AI features on Nord CE5. Unlike OnePlus 13 and New Nord 5, there is no Plus key to seek AI -powered Quick Saving feature. Instead, you need to swipe using three fingers to mobilize the same action. The phone also features a sound feature that summarizes you recorded calls, and the screen scanning translate feature that is mostly reliable (I have added a sample screenshot).

The Dimension 8350 Apex SOC on the OnePlus Nord CE5 is a rabbed version of the same chip launched by the Medetic last November, and it offers a remarkable jump in the Snapdragon 7 General 3 on Nord CE4. If the Gack Bench scores have any indicators, Nord CE offers 5 9 % and 25 % better CPC.

Although you won’t see these performance improvement if you use both phones for day -to -day tasks, fast chip on Nord CE5 Should Offer better long -term performance as apps demand more resources in the future. From editing the phone 4K videos to a number of popular apps, and it seems reliable as its more expensive siblings, One Plus Nord 5.
I tested the call -off duty: Mobile, BGMI (with HD, with set graphics on Ultra), and Asphalt Legends unite on One Plus Nord CE 5, and the gameplay was smooth and intermittent, even after about 40 minutes of uninterrupted gaming. One Plus has equipped the Nord CE5 with a 6.77 -inch (1,080 × 2,392 pixels) OLED screen, which has a refresh rate that switchs between 60Hz and 120Hz, and up to 300Hz touch sampling rate. This Widwine L1 is certified, which means you can see HD and HDR content on Netflix and Prime Video.
When setting the OnePlus Nord CE5, I chose the cinema display color mode, but you can also select the standard or clear color methods for more quiet and saturated alternatives respectively. The OnePlus Nord CE5 can also be used in bright external conditions, and the display is very responsible, even when I used the phone with wet hands.

It is better to close the prox DR setting in the photo app, however, it applies the additional effects of viewing the images stored on your phone. If you keep this feature active, you will see a different result (the original image) when you see the same pictures on another device like your computer.
One Plus Nord CE 5 Camera: A decent primary camera

The primary camera contains the same Sony IMX600 as is like last year’s Nord CE4, which occupies sharp images over the day. I did not realize any additional saturation or display issues in most scenarios. Photos with many blue are a bit more dynamic than original articles, but I like exactly how the pictures are usually taken. The images taken at night are also very decent, but you will need to make sure that your article remains remained until the image is caught.

It also supports 2x zoom mode (these sensor crop), which allows you to zoom on articles that are slightly away. When occupying portraits, 1x mode allows you to switch between 26 mm and 35 mm focal length, while 2x zoom mode is locked at 51 mm. In low -light scenarios, this phone offers the built -in night mode performance that is equivalent to a more modern sensor on OnePlus Nord 5, for articles that are not moving fast.
You also get an ultra -wide camera with the OV08D10 sensor, and it captures photos of a sharp 8 megapixel during the day, though some shots have some warping on the edges. The colors are mostly compatible with those caught using primary camera. At night, there is a lack of details of the images caught with this camera, in which the handset camera algorithm has been left to deal with noise and colorful reproduction. This is also slowly more than the primary camera to capture the pictures, so it is better to go into the primary camera for night shots.

Selfie camera (Sony IMX 480) offers high quality selfies on the OnePlus Nord CE5, and no “beauty” features are applied as default. During the day, it captures images in a lot of detail, while low -light scenarios are smooth on selfies, as well as portrait images (2X) taken with primary camera.
The main camera supports the optical image stabilization (OIS) up to 1080p/30fps. If you do not want to use the ultra -stable mode, you can record the video at 4K/ 60fps. The ultra -wide camera supports up to 1080p/ 30fps video recording, but there is no OIS. The selfie camera can capture up to 1080p/60fps video, which is limited to 1080p/30fps in ultra -stable mode.

Smartphone batteries continue to increase size, and Nord CE5 has a large 7,100mAh battery, especially in the Nord CE5. It is one of the largest batteries to debut into the smartphone in 2025. In conjunction with the effective dimension 8350 chamber, the handset permanently delivered the battery life of at least two days on the same charge during my test period.
One Plus Nord CE 5 has a dual stereo speaker shortage
Using the added 80W sproed charger, the OnePlus took only an hour (between 65 and 68 minutes) to completely charged the Nord CE5. The handset continued for 27 hours and 10 minutes during our HD video battery loop test, and the PC mark work continued for 17 hours and 44 minutes during the 3.0 battery test. As we regularly identify our studies, these are artificial tests done in controlled conditions, and the real world battery life will be different based on your use.
One Plus Nord CE 5: Decision
The OnePlus Nord CE5 offers better performance and better battery life than its predecessor, while also providing most reliable cameras. The phone also has four years OS upgrades and five years of security to get updates. Additionally, it offers useful AI features, though it lacks the plus key on One Plus Nord 5.
The shortage of a slightly low ultra -wide camera and stereo speaker is slightly disappointing to see this price.
