South Korea’s publication Bell (X on H/T Jukin Choi) shared specifications for the Tree Fold Foldable and Samsung production and distribution projects. The report states that the company will start the phone manufacture in September, which is prepared for a product launch Q4 2025. In the next week’s Samsung Inipeg event, we can find only some details around the phone’s key specifications and design instead of completely revealed.
It is said that the Samsung is developing a new foldable to assess the market response, and the purpose of peeking the packaged is to increase interest. The Samsung Display will start producing OLED panels for the tri -fold phone in August, aligning with the Samsung Mobile Production Plan.
There is bad news on the front of the availability. The report states that Samsung plans to sell phones only in China and South Korea, as well as what was done for the Galaxy Z Fold Special Edition. Leaks about selfie camera on the inner display of Fold 7 are not clear, so we don’t even know about the Galaxy G Fold.
The Samsung triangle will also include a small battery compared to the competitive Huawei Mate Xt (5,600mah). A small battery will restrict that you can enjoy a widespread internal display, so it remains to be seen how Samsung balances the device with its utility.
