President Donald Trump has announced a trade agreement with Vietnam. The deal has two different taxes left on imported goods from Vietnam. The one that covers the Apple devices made in Vietnam and is sent to the states demands that Apple pay 20 % import tax. The Tech Dev will have the option to pay the entire amount. This can also increase prices by the amount of revenue, which forcing US consumers to pay tax bills. Or Apple can pay some rates and raise prices by a little, which causes consumers to pay for balance.

I know that President Donald Trump wrote on a social media post that “Vietnam will pay 20 % tariffs on all the goods sent to the United States and all the goods sent to our area.” I am sorry, but it’s not how taxes work. Vietnam will not even pay a penny of taxes imposed by the United States that you want to believe, but that’s true. Apple and/or its US users will be forced to pay the import tax on the following devices, which are believed to be made by Apple in Vietnam.

    • Air Pods
    • Apple Watch
    • IPad
    • Mac mini
    • MacBook Pro

In the United States, a 20 % import tax on goods shipped from Vietnam looks like a tax deal, compared to 46 %, Trump announced for Vietnam during his “Liberation Day” event. However, before the early April announcement, revenue on goods sent from Vietnam to the United States was less than 4 %.

Is this a lie or merely misunderstanding? Trump is wrong who pays the rates imposed on Vietnam. | Image-APPLOSIDER

In addition to 20 % of the revenue on goods shipped from Vietnam to the United States, Trump announced a 40 % transmission tariff on goods shipped from Vietnam to the United States, which actually came from another country (usually China) and was sent through Vietnam to avoid excessive revenue. As we noted, Apple is not expected to deal with transting tariffs.

At one point, Apple allegedly wanted to move its main iPhone manufacturing facilities from China to Vietnam. However, it seems that Trump will not be satisfied unless every iPhone sold in the United States is built in the United States. Still, Trump Mobile recently changed the website by haking Trump T1 new phone. In fact, the site now says that the phone was “designed with American values in mind.”
