Google announces numerous new features for its classroom software suite, which includes teachers and free Gemini AI tools for teachers and notebook LMs under the age of 18 – this tool is available for minor for the first time.
Teachers with Google Work Space Account will have a new dedicated Gemini tab in the Google Classroom, in which they offer tools that can support brainstorming lessons projects, math problems, or draft emails among others. For those holding Education Plus Edition Accounts, Gemini Audio Lessons will also be presented as an adventure. Another new tab for analytics will allow teachers to track students’ performance, showing the recent improvement or those who are deprived of assignments and will need further help.
Google will also open its notebook LM research and notes to users under the age of 18. Students will be able to use a notebook LM to access things like interactive study guides and podcast -style audio reviews that upload their teachers. And on the basis of their curriculum to share with the students, they can create their customs jewelry, mini -custom gymnasium agent. Students will be able to interact with a semen to get additional help or find out more about what is based on what. This feature goes a step further, as the organizers will be able to share jewelry with their supervisors in their district, to help plan the lesson or whatever organizers like to do micro management.
Some other new tools coming to the teachers include Generative AI video creation to create a new “form” in Google VID, Gemini, and at the beginning of Google’s class tools. Class tools were announced earlier this year, and now when they are straight, they will allow teachers to manage their students’ Chrome Boxes – such as sharing content and reducing disturbances on their screens – during the lesson. By connecting the session code directly to your students’ accounts, teachers can move a workbook, video, presentation, or even quiz directly to their screens.
Speaking of Chrome Box, Google is also highlighting that it has more than 12 new Chrome Book, Chrome Book Plus, and Chrome Book Ops (Intel’s Open Plugable Details) Front of Classroom Display Lovices devices-on any point. No special timeframe has been given here, though the list includes the recently announced Lenovo Chrome Book Plus 14, which I have received a preview, which is starting today.
For teachers and students, with all these Gemini tools, Google is also announcing that the Gemini for Education is now standard for base level Google’s educational accounts. It offers the Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model, which can access teachers with more limits than base -level users accounts. Current Gemini Education and Gemini Education Premium Advisor will be united as Google AI Pro for education.
