When I and my wife travel, we usually download some shows to see our flight. But when we look at these shows, we always have to distribute a set of air pods so that we have an airbound. This means that one of our ears is enjoying the show, while the other is forced to tolerate whatever is happening around the plane, which can be a bit disturbing. But thanks to Apple’s audio sharing feature, we can enjoy a show using our own air pods’ sets of our own.
Audio sharing was introduced in 2024 with iOS 18 and iPados 18. This allows two pairs to connect synchronized air pods or bat headphones with the same iPhone or iPad. So you and another person can drown yourself in music, movies or ted talk without bothering people around you.

Here is how to share audio with another set of air pods or beats headphones.
How do I enjoy music and podcasts together
You can share your audio with another headphone by tapping your headphone control.
1. Open your ears with your air pods with music, podcasts, spots or similar apps and connect to your iPhone or iPad.
2. Start playing music or podcasts.
3. Swipe from the top right corner of your screen and open your control center.
4. Go to your audio controls page – this is your second control center page as default.
5. Tap the Air Pods logo near your screen.
6. Tap Share audio.
7. Bring the other couple of Air Pods in their case or defeat the headphone near your device. You may need to press the button on the back of your Air Pods case to get into the mood to make a pair.
8. Tap Share audio When your device detects other air pods or beats the headphones.
You can control the volume of both headphones from the attached device.
Each pair of headphones can change its volume through headphone controls, or you can change the volume of each couple through the attached device. But you will be able to enjoy a podcast or other music, distributing a couple without a couple or bothering people around you.
How to watch a movie or show with a separate headphone
It is also the case for you to watch a movie or TV series on your own device. How is it here
1. Open another streaming app with Apple TV, Netflix, YouTube or your headphones.
2. Start playing a movie or show.
3. Swipe below the upper right corner of your screen to open your control center.
4. Go to your audio controls page – this is your second control center page as default.
5. Tap the Air Pods logo near your screen.
6. Tap Share audio.
7. Bring the other couple of Air Pods in their case or defeat the headphone near your device. You may need to press the button on the back of your Air Pods case to get into the mood to make a pair.
8. Tap Share audio When your device detects other air pods or beats the headphones.
The tapeting share audio will allow you to connect with another headphone set so you and the other person can hear or watch something on the same screen.
Now you and the other person can watch the video together without distributing people around you and distributing air pods.
