Samsung is bringing another middle -distance smartphone to its largest market, India. The Galaxy M36 is the result of last year’s Galaxy M35, a device that Samsung has decided to advertise as a “Monster” phone.
At a time when the Galaxy M35 made its first start in India, the 6,000 MAH battery was enough to use the word “Monster” when referring to the middle range device. These days more companies put 6,000 or more batteries on their phone, so it will likely become normal next year.
The interesting thing about the Galaxy M36 is that although Samsung keeps everything related to it as “monster”, the phone actually comes with a smaller battery than the predecessor.

We are not sure why Samsung decided to remove a major phone sales point, but now that it has happened, the Galaxy M36 is thin 15 % of its predecessor. This is a very important change if you are looking for a thin phone.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy M36 is 7.7 mm sleeve, which is much lower than 9.1 mm chassis of Galaxy M35. In terms of sunglasses, there is another difference between the two phones that are noteworthy. The Galaxy M35 has a 6.6 -inch display, while the Galaxy M36 is expected to play a slightly 6.7 -inch screen. The display size difference is not fully fully, but the really notable is that Samsung has decided to replace the Galaxy M35 cartoon hole with an unmanned water drop note. This is definitely a choice.
The Camera Island looks a bit different than the Galaxy M35, but really plays nothing. In addition, the Galaxy M35 and M36 are practically the same. Both phones use the same chip set, camera system, memory quantity and display type.
At first glance the Samsung Galaxy M36 Springs:
- Display: 6.7 -inch Super AMOLED, 120 Hertz Refresh Rate, Corning Gorlala Victos+
- Chip set: Acinos 1380
- Memory: 6/8 gb
- Storage: 128/256 GB
- Main camera: 50 mp main + 8 mp ultra wide + 2 mp macro
- Front camera: 13mp
- Battery: 5,000 MAH, 25W Wired Charging Support
Price and availability
Samsung has already confirmed that the Galaxy M36 comes in three colors: velvet black, on the green, and the orange hassle. Open sales will start in India on July 12 through Samsung’s website and Amazon.
The cheapest model costs Rs 22,999 (0 270 / € 230) and it comes with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. For a limited time, Samsung offers a large -scale discount to consumers, which costs only Rs 16,499 ($ 195 / € 165).
It is surprising to see that a phone like the Galaxy M36 has already been pushed into a highly competitive middle -range class, with nothing to stand. Needless to say that it directly competes with the Galaxy M35, which feels like a better device due to a large battery and low price.
Perhaps Samsung plans to retire the Galaxy M35 and replace it with a new model, in which case if you are in the market for a mid -ranger with a large battery, it will now be a good time.
