According to the Chinese microblogging platform shared by a tipter on Webo, Apple’s base iPhone 17 model will be reached with a larger display from the existing iPhone 16. The previous leaks also indicated at the beginning of a large iPhone 17 handset, which is expected to include the screen that is as big as the iPhone 16 Pro. This year, Apple is also expected to upgrade the display to a 120 -Herz panel on a standard iPhone 17 model.

    IPhone 17 Display specifications (expected)

In a post related to Webs, the tipter digital chat station (translated from Chinese) claims that the iPhone 17 will be equipped with a 6.3 -inch display. Last year, Apple increased the size of the iPhone 16 Pro to 6.3 inches, and it seems that the iPhone 17 will receive the same treatment. This information has previously appeared online in various leaks that indicate a remarkable display upgrade for Apple’s next smartphone.

Earlier this week, a list of glass -footed glasses on Amazon India has inadvertently confirmed that the safety glass will be compatible with the iPhone 16 Pro, as well as “iPhone 17” and “iPhone 17 Pro”. Since then, references to these handsets have been deleted from the Amazon listing, but it shows that the three models will be equipped with a 6.3 -inch screen.

According to previous reports, analysts and other sources refer to, Apple will not only upgrade the size of the display to the iPhone 17 but also upgrade its performance. All Apple’s non -pro models, including the latest iPhone 16 and the iPhone 16 Plus, are equipped with 60Hz display. This year, Apple’s base iPhone 17 and Ported iPhone 17 Air Model are expected to arrive with 120Hz LTPOO LED screens.

Although the 120 Hz screen may be inclined towards Apple’s standard iPhone model this year, the company will allegedly limit the display and other features that rely on Apple’s adaptive refresh rate, which is between 1hz and 120Hz to the iPhone 17 Pro models.

According to an old report, the iPhone 17 and the iPhone 17 will also be equipped with the latest M -14 O LED panels of Samsung. Last year, Apple used the South Korean technology firm’s new OLED technology on its iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, but it would allegedly equip all four models in its 2025 lineup with the same OLED screens.
