There are a lot of The smart speaker in the market, and the best smart speaker is harder than picking up. First, you need to decide what sound you prefer. Amazon’s Alexa, Google Assistant, and Apple’s Siri – and everyone have its profession and compliance. This guide is arranged by our favorite speaker, regardless of what auxiliary he uses, but if you prefer a different assistant, we recommend a secondary option.
Overall, Google- and Amazon-powered smart speakers are the way to go, though we prefer Google’s ecosystem over Amazon. Amazon’s speaker lineup is more wide, but our favorite models are still Google, including Google Nest audio ($ 75) For a smart speaker (especially if you want stereo sound and two speakers for a larger price) and Google Nest hub max (30 230) For smart display. Amazon makes our favorite little speaker, even though the fifth generation especially Amazon ECO DOT ($ 50).

Our favorite smart speaker

Overall, Google Assistant is our leading smart speaker and helping, so it is no surprise that the nest audio (8/10, wired) is our overall choice. It has found a compact, pillow shape and excellent sound that will easily fill the small and medium -sized rooms. We really like to use two nests as a stereo pair as they can offer some of the best audio quality that you can get in $ 200 in a smart speaker.
As all Google Assistant – like power devices, you can ask the nest to compile timers, play music, or tell you the weather, and you can ask anything to find it on Google. The Google Home App makes it easy to connect the speaker with another Google Friendly Smart Device you have. Google’s ecosystem is overall simple and is easy to integrate with Google itself and others, with many other products.

★ If you prefer Alexa: The fourth generation echo ($ 100) is equal to the Amazon of this device. It’s a little smaller but wider, going for a round design on long nest audio. It has faced wonderful sound quality and excellent abilities, and if you prefer Alexa in your home, this is a good choice. There have been some changes with Alexa, and soon there is a new version of Assistant for everyone – what do you think about Alexa+in our section?
The best smart display

I like a smart display, because I like the option to use voice commands to control my smart home or my finger tap. Nest Hub Max (8/10, wired) is my favorite because it doubles as a beautiful digital photo frame. It does a great job when I’m a Google photo user, but even if you are not supporting everything like Google Photos, it is easy to create and add albums to display on a 10 -inch screen.
Hub Max is also easy to use to control your smart home, allowing you to adjust the lights with the tap or get the doorbell feed on your device straight. It has a built -in hub, so Smart Home Devices can connect with Setup IT, and it supports more than thread and Wi -Fi. It also has surprisingly solid sounds for its thin speakers and profiles, especially for casual listening sessions in the kitchen or setting the atmosphere during the basement and dragon sessions.

★ If you prefer Alexa display: Amazon has a border line of smart display, but it is easy to keep my favorite name: Eco Show 8 ($ 150). The 8 -inch screen is quite large enough for each item you can use it, and it packs a good speaker and has a built -in hub that is compatible with zigbie, material and thread. The larger sizes of any regular size are very large, unless you are accustomed to the smart home and don’t believe you will put a 21 -inch smart display to use.

This is my favorite offer from the small speaker Amazon. The little Eco -dot is on its fifth generation (you probably remember the original, which seemed like a hockey puck) and this latest model has a wonderful sound standard for such a small speaker. It does everything that big speakers can do in a small form. It is a great choice if you know you want to jam on music in a shower. I also like a dot with the clock ($ 54) version, which is a bit more and also includes a simple digital watch. It is currently in stock, but its availability has been very low this year.
