It’s a hot in the east where I live and have been a few days. Even the heat of New York has harmonized me with the air conditioner’s blasting, it is nothing compared to other parts of the United States, which is now affected by one of the strange summer samples: heat dome.
If this is a new phrase for you, keep reading and I will break what the heat dome is and what is the reason, and for more help, read the list of CNET hex to keep your home cool in the summer.
What is the heat dome?
The National Weather Service’s Alex Lammers told the NPR that think of the heat dome is like cooking something on a pot or frying pan.
The heat dome is the same when a high pressure system is delayed, causing the hot air to be trapped below it, resulting in a longer increase in temperature. Just as putting the lid on a pot or pan makes the heat trapped and cooks fast. Except in this case, the food is you and me.
It is worse than the fact that the high pressure system is known to cause dry weather, which can also contribute to warm temperatures.
According to a heatmap provided on the official website of the National Integrated Health Health Information System, heat risks are raised for most of the country between Midwest and Lower Mississippi Valley and East Coast, East North Carolina, Central Virginia, Pittsburg, all of the most southern, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast, Southeast.
In the most affected areas, the temperature can be higher to 115 degrees, while the other will rotate between 95 and 100 degrees. All around, this is the weather that can make the power outage likely to make life or death.
How long does the heat dome run?
I wish I had better news for you.
Unfortunately, the heat dome lasts for a few weeks for a few weeks, depends on how long it takes to move or end the high pressure system in a particular region.
While Ekovider reported on June 24 that the incoming rain storms would provide relief to some areas, but not every region would be so fortunate. In some areas, the heat dome is slowly broken. So if you were hoping for hard things without applying the AC, it is probably the time to review it.
Does the climate change make the heat dome damage?
Oh, of course.
Talking to Time Magazine for a report on the current heat wave, Meteorological professor Bill Galce at Iowa State University said the reason and the impact question was “one of the easy questions (questions).”
He explained that heat dome, one of the more likely to get worse in climate, is one of the more likely to get worse, even more weather -related events, such as growing storms and strong hurricanes.
“There are many things that are complicated and we cannot say what climate change is going to do, such as how many hurricanes or hurricanes we find,” said Galce. “But it is likely that we will have high heat dome and maybe hot temperatures.”
How can I avoid the heat dome?
As you may be able to explain all these explanations so far, there is no need to do much other than the heat dome.
It may be likely to stay inside or go to another place, which is not causing trouble under a high pressure system. May be heading to the west coast, where my other CNET colleagues – whom I have never envied and have never been, promise – insist that the weather is positive. Hope you are enjoying all there, people.
Or hey, maybe try the old summer standby and watch a movie in a good air -conditioned theater. That new F1 movie looks very clear.
