Pocket Book InkPad EO Overview
As soon as I pulled the InkPad EO from his packaging, it was, “Oh, it’s different.” This is physically contrary to any pocket bobbed device that I have tried earlier, with a premium and heavy construction that it is taken from bugs-after becoming the co-owner of the Chinese brand.
It was a good move because it feels good to hold the metal -connected chassis and, despite the camera behind the 8 MP, there is no clash, so it is completely flat on a table. However, the use of metal edges and cameras has been made much heavier than the inkpad EO, such as Onics Box Go 10.3 (375g), and longer sessions. I have experienced the other 10 -inch e -ink written pills and most of them are more comfortable than the inkpad EO.
In addition to its design, I just appreciate each other’s positives about the pocket book InkPad EO. Adopt a global handwriting feature-the ability to write on third-party apps-which is not always helpful in other apparating pills and can well affect some potential buyers. The second color is palette – while the Cobo Color is not like the Labra screen, the book is covered on the InkPad EO. However, at the time of writing or drawing, he has not been translated into the colors of ink and he looks much more washed.
And from this place my positives are stopped by my device. Although I appreciate the efforts to compete with Onx Bocus devices, the EO is unable to compete in other areas.
Starting Lo, Losing stylus is very easy because it is not magnetically safe in the pill aspect. In addition, the eraser in the upper part of the pen does not behave at all as expected – it is more selector, and is erased After You have selected something in the note app. This is not a huge interval, but I prefer the way I behave with the premium pen or cobo stylus 2 of the burning scratch – when you move along with writing (or drawing), as the pencil cleanser really happens. Even the remarkable markers and the Bocus pen are erased in real time.
The camera, despite having a good touch, is not worth it. It does not actually ‘scan’ a document as your phone may – instead takes a picture. And the quality of the image is not very good, such as Ones Box Palma 2.
One thing you expect to do with any editor is the transfer of files, but even the basic work was disappointing with the inkPad EO. Although dropbox support (and I’m not the user of this cloud service), no cable transfer from MacBook is possible (I’m not even a Windows user). All possible solutions recommended by the Pocket Book I found online to transfer the eBook to the library application and I had to resort to using a microSD card instead. He worked well, at the same time allowed me to add custom fonts, and resume makes the latter easily enabled. Even Bocus devices do not have Apple Support, but transfer of files without using a microSD card is still very easy, and it’s thanks to the Box drop and Google Drive support.
It is not easy to check whether the file import (in my case through the microSD card) has been successfully completed on the InkPad EO. There is no progress bar and the files do not check when imported. Surprisingly, there is a brown out import button with the checkmark, but it barely looks.
Even ghosting is a major problem. Almost every app and every page results in the light screen, which can be disturbing after a while as you expect it. And this pocket is also with the Box devices, despite adopting several refresh rate options, and still does it better later. I noticed that the best setting of refresh rate is a regular option to successfully reduce the ghosting on the inkpad EO, but the only way to choose is to choose custom mode, otherwise it is full. This is a simple thing and should be available as one of the default options.
The first appper is a written pill I have experienced, but the user’s interface was immediately familiar with. It is like a remarkable and a loving child of Bocus, who is more inherited than the latter. And, of course, it means that the EO struggles with similar issues that I had earlier complained to Bocus. The interface is complex and is not very smooth, with important sub -sections when accessing them should be easier.
I am not too panic about a tablet released in April 2025, which is running Android 11. It’s now old and, although I do not expect a problem like a security e-ink note-taking tablet, it is certainly the time now-even the Box has adopted Android 13.

There are many small insects that can be determined by firmware updates, but currently, disturbing. For example, tapping on the home icon doesn’t take you to the home screen at all – it just refreshes the screen on which you are already present or take it to the homepage you were using.
Another example is that although the pocket book has thought of adding the front light setting at night and bedtime, they both are very bright as defaults and need to adjust the manual anyway. So these prostations had no use, at least for me who prefer the dim screen light when reading at night.
Long story short, pocketbook needs to be improved. The InkPad EO has a good appearance written pill, but, as it is now, it is difficult to suggest that when there are other brands that work much higher at the same or lower cost.

The pocket book InkPad EO was announced in late March 2025 and is available from April to buy from third -party sellers in selected markets. This kind of money you are getting a much better device-an e-paper screen that shows the color and a very organized, minimal user interface. For example, the Amazon UK has a shortage of 4 504.26, but the crease has recorded it in 9 499. The laptop is the only retailer in the UK when writing the direct directly.
In Australia, the pocketbox devices are not officially available, but imports are listed on Amazon and eBay, but on high markups.

How did I experience pocket book Inkpad EO
- Every day used as an editor and note ticker for three weeks
- Download some Android apps including burning and cobo to read
- Listen to some audio boxes and music files to test the speaker’s quality

I have experienced about 30 30 prisoners in the last eight years, so when I start a new review, I have developed the routine. First, I contact Wi -Fi to configure the device, then immediately see if I can transfer some e -boxes and comedy files for testing. And if this pocket is a note -taking pill like the Book Book InkPad EO, I start a new notebook called Scrabs where I examine the identity of writing, drawing and handwriting.
I did all this for the InkPad EO, then signed in to download some other apps in the Google Play Store, including some benchmarking because I am always interested in knowing what the processor performs.
I spent about 30 30 hours in reading the eBooks, and took all my notes on the InkPad EO. This gave me a lot of experience in the pill. I also tried the camera a few times, as well as all the refresh rate options and different settings.
Given my experience with various brands and e -ink -writing tablets, I was able to compare the InkPad EO with as much as possible with the Income Box, burning, kobo and remarkable competition.
