According to the researchers’ reports, a long hidden plum in Magma under Oman’s Salma Makkab has played a wonderful role in the formation of an ancient journey of the Indian subcontinent. This “ghost” plum – the hot material trapped under the thick layer of the ground – may not burst but may have moved to the Indian tectonic plate route tens of millions of years ago during his dramatic collision with Eurasia. First, in detail in the journal Earth and Science Places of Planets, this search revealed a new class of deep mantle plums that quietly form the continents, without a specific signature of the surface volcano.

Hidden ‘gast’ plum under Oman has moved the path of India’s confrontation with Eurasia

According to a direct science report, the palm was detected using a dense sensor network’s earthquake data. Under the leadership of Geo -Physicist Simon Pilia, the group discovered that the plum changed the sound waves in the layers of the earth, which resulted in its presence. Unlike most mantle plums, which grows and flirts through the sea plates, the gray is amygmatic and does not produce surface drainage due to the thick continent layer above the plum. This search means that many invisible plots may be potentially under the continents.

Dani Plum is the first non -torn plum under a continent plate, expanding the theory of scientists how mantle dynamics exit the eyes. Researchers also calculated the movement of the Indian plate and found that it had taken a crucial turn between 40 and 25 million years ago, which was probably affected by the scissors created by the plum. It is expected that the effects of the plum on the tipography will be regionally small, but its geological role may be relatively large.

Although plums usually leave a volcano trail like the chain of the island of Hawaii – evidence of Dani Plum can erase through subditation activity in the nearest makran zone. Nevertheless, researchers say that the search opens the door to discover more “ghost” plums, especially in the same kind of coarse crusts, such as Africa. As earthquake technologies are moving forward, more silent underground forces that create land history may emerge.
