Recently, I noticed that my free helium line was using data faster than expected, considering that I had rarely used it and turned on my Wi -Fi permanently. After the investigation, I realized that my mistake was doubled. First of all, I mistakenly arranged helmet as my primary mobile data line instead of my Verizon account. It explained a part of the problem, but the use of mobile data when my home network is not suddenly increased.
Fortunately, I stumbled upon the user’s unfortunate_D_4873 with a good timed thread thread. The thread was not affiliated with my exact problem, which included Pixel 7 using excessive data despite the Wi -Fi connection. The mobile representative of a mint made a false claim that this happens until the mobile data is clearly shut down. How to close WiFi Assist, Intelligence, and other similar features

Settings vary slightly in terms of your device, but here are the key adjustments you want to consider:
IPhone users would like to turn off Wi -Fi Assist and make sure 5G is not given priority
WiFi Assist continues to be default, but to close it, upright:

To close the 5G Priority feature on your iPhone:

Pixel users: turn off automatic WiFi switching
Pixel does not give the official name of this feature, but it will automatically convert to Wi -Fi, usually as default. To change this:
- Barley WiFi> WiFi Preferences> Advanced.

Galaxy users: Turn off intelligent Wi -Fi and consider adjusting some other settings
