Verizon is allegedly encouraging store representatives to engage in unauthorized access and the situation is provoking both employees and users.
A local store employee sent a message about the ongoing promotions, Reddet user Larnsanthan said. The strange thing about this message is that it did not come from the company’s number and it seems that it is automatic. Instead, an employee apparently used his personal number, created a custom message, and even mentioned his name.
It was a surprise to receive SMS spam from the store employee (see LinkedIn). Yes, this is a local company store, but I have never stepped in and have not talked to any employee there. It seems that this is a “G” personal phone number, which made me spam.

Naturally, he collided with Larnsanthan, which was surprised that a local store employee who had never gone was not contacting him in personal ability.

According to several Veraizon Employees who respond to the thread are not only encouraged for this exercise, but also compulsory through Veraizon. The company asks store representatives to chase leads through calls or messages.
Yes, as a corporate rap, we find local leads and have to reach them.

Employees claim that they hate making these calls or sending these texts as much as consumers hate receiving them, but many of them have a quota to meet, so they have no choice.
We use several different tools to send promotional text messages to all users. I am a manager of Verizon and it is important for every cell employee to do this. They are not doing this for purpose. Trust me that we hate doing so but it is closely monitored and if we do not do it, we are really accountable for account.

Employees have advised them to subscribe to such communication, but Larnsanthan has already done so. Apparently, choosing marketing messages does not prevent local representatives from reaching users, though, for example, it should not be.
Some people have argued that this is not technically spam and that there is nothing to work a single beggar message.
This is not technically spam because it does not produce automatically, representatives have to send a message manually or call. This is usually the case with users who have tremendous upgrades and a new line.

Regardless, many users can still get such messages annoying and ask them to get away from their entrance list to contact them with the best supporters. Some people believe that this is a harmless process and employees usually contact only those who are capable of attractive upgrades and line offers. Look at this way, some users can really benefit from these calls and messages. However, some employees have pointed out that in most cases, these calls do not work, so it can be assumed that for most people, they are a problem.
Veraizon Apparently not the only company that is pushing this behavior, which is an irony, the reason is that the company appears on its website as a severe lawyer against Spam. However, with the cooling of the growth, and losing Verizon users, it is not difficult to see why this strategy is being pursued.
