Google’s quest is a new outlet linked to its most central product in the quest to add your gym to everything. The new Google Search Live essentially provides Google Search’s AI mode to the Gemini -powered sound.
It is currently available to users in the United States through the Google app on iOS and Android, and it invites you to literally talk to their search bar. You speak, and it speaks back. Unlike Half of Yasir’s heart, it does not refrain from hearing after just one question. This is a complete dialogue partner unlike non -verbal AI format.
It also works in the background, which means that I can leave the app to do something else on my phone during chat, and the audio did not pause or malfunction. It just continued, as if I was on the phone with someone.

Google has called this system a “inquiry fan out”, which means that instead of answering your question, it also considers quietly related questions, and prepares diverse sources and views. Direct search testing i, I tapped the “direct” icon and asked about speculation books that I should read this summer. The genetic sound offered some classic and some more recent powers. After that I decided to move it a little further and decided to say that it was wrong about the best imaginary books and it had listed something of his own. It is clearly very different from the wall of the classic Google search and its links. If you look at the screen, you still see links, but its focus is on the conversation. Google is not unique to its AI vocal version, as Chat GPT and other similar features make a profit. The Google Search Live comes out as smooth, and I didn’t need to re -describe my questions or repeat myself once in 10 minutes. Connecting with Google’s original search system can help keep things ground. This is like talking to someone who always has a stack of references in his back pocket.
I don’t think the search is straightforward that people will use to change their usual online search methods, but here it has a real leakage benefit. For people who can’t be comfortable and cannot see, new doors such as sound first tools. For children, they also ask homework questions, or that they have random questions for cooking food but they do not want to stop the flour from their screen.
Of course, there is a trade, how people browse the web. If the AI of such a conversation becomes a dominant interface to search on Google, what is the web traffic? Publishers already feel that when they are released by AI and hire lawyers to fight it, they are screaming in falsehood. If its sources shrink or end, what will AI look for? This is a complex question, which is worth discussing. I have to see how the search live arises.
