Despite the 2nm trials of the Samsung Foundry, the latest application processor (AP), Acinos 2600, is now undergoing a mass production using 2 NMGAA process node of the Samsung Foundry, now, while demonstrating production in the 30 -RANGE range. Some of the company’s units, such as its LSI chip design arm, and the aforementioned Samsung Foundry Division, are working hard to try to improve production.

Low production means that the passing of the silicon waifer through the QA is cut off and is considered usable. The smaller production, the more expensive chips, which avoid the manufacturing process. Look at it like this. A baker makes 100 cookies and only 30 edibles come out. Baking these 100 cookies can only be divided into 30 cookies. If 75 cookies come out of the baking process without any defects, the cost of production is now divided by 75 to reduce the cost.

Earlier this year, the production of 2nm trials of the Samsung Foundry was 30 %. Since May, the foundry has been targeting 50 % production and the Acneos 2600 on the 2nm process node for the Samsung Foundry should increase by 70 % to make it worth up to 70 %. Not only seems to be one of the first APs to be built on 2600 2nm, but it will be one of the first people to use the Gaa All -around GAA transistors. The GAA transactions covers the channel on all four sides, reducing the current leakage and improving the drive current. Thus using GAA, the chips have improved efficiency while becoming more energy efficient.

Once the Samsung Excenos will work with a large -scale production of 2600 prototypes, it will start producing risk while the foundry works to improve its production. The official mass production of Eknos 2600 AP may begin a few months before the Galaxy S26 series expected in December or January. Acinos 2600 is expected to be equipped with 10 CPU core. If the Samsung Foundry can increase its 2NM output to 70 % we can see the Acneos 2600 power Galaxy S26And Galaxy S26+ In Europe, and production depends on the United States, Canada and other regions outside China. In these three markets, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 AP, which is built using its 3 NM node by TSMC, will be under it. Galaxy S26 And the Galaxy A26+ Model. In all regions, the Galaxy S26 Ultra Snapdragon will be operated by 8 Elite 2 AP.
