Android 16 is officially here, and it includes Google’s work on direct iPhone activities. On Tuesday, Google announced that direct updates are working with Ride Share and Food Delivery Apps, which can track your ride or delivery progress with permanent, real -time notifications.
Android 16 will automatically clear your general notification draws by group warning.
Another refreshing purpose is to improve the quality of the call for people wearing hearing aids with their device. Right now, Google says most LE listening devices use the microphone in front of them for audio input, although the purpose of these MICs is to raise the voice of people talking to you rather than your voice. If you are wearing hearing aids during the call, you can now change your phone’s microphone instead. Android 16 includes local control for hearing devices, which allows you to adjust the volume, default microphone for calls, and more.
In addition, you can now enable advanced safety-a feature that protects endangered users from harmful apps, unsafe websites, online attacks and more. The Google Customs keyboard is also developing the launch of its Dax -like desktop experience for Android with the shortcut, which developers can start testing from today before the broader rollout later this year.
Google also announced several other small but notable updates to its apps. This includes the ability to set a custom icon for RCS group chats in Google Messages, and mute reports on group chats for specific periods. Google is taking a newly designed editor in photos on more devices along with the path to add more time to your safety check.
Meanwhile, Google Home is getting a refreshment that should make smart home product management easier from different places, as it will now allow you to make shortcuts for specific devices in Google Home. This means that you can pin your security cameras on your Google TV, or pin your thermost control on your clothing OS Smart Watch. If you have an OS Watch to wear, you will now be able to tap City Transit Cards without opening your Google Valley app.
