A new report states that Samsung now has the encouragement to prepare the next generation of RAM chips that will use LPDR6 RAM standards. The thing that encourages Samsung to accelerate the development of its next gene Ram is reported that China’s modern memory technology (CXMT) has completed its LPDR 5X RAM. As a result, the CXMT is reducing Samsung’s lead when speaking of RAM chips. Samsung already has a potential user for his LPDR6 RAM chips as the alleged Qualcomm will assist the new Ram Chip, which has its upcoming top off -off -line Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 application processor (AP). This is the SOC that will strengthen the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in all regions earlier next year. It will be prepared by TSMC using its third generation 3NM node (N3P). Of course, Samsung is expecting LPDR 6 RAM chips to sell to many customers.

The CXMT may put pressure on Samsung to move forward in the next generation of Ram. Keep in mind that based on the end of the last year and the beginning of this year, CXMT has only 5 % of the global RAM market. South Korea’s SK Hanks is a leader with the top in Samsung, with about 36 36 % of the global Ram Market. Samsung is next, with the market share between 33.7 % – 34.4 %. This makes micron technology and global Ram Pai’s 24.3 % -25 % slices.

Built by Samsung, the LPDR 5X RAM Chip and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra were used for both 12GB and 16GB for variations that were developed on the 12NM process node of the Samsung Foundry. The former version of Samsung’s LPDR 5X RAM chip, such as used on the Galaxy S23 ultra, was built by the Samsung Foundry using its 14nm process node.
