I always joke that my hobby is sleeping, but I’m not really joking. I dealt with Indira at a teenage age and now, as an adult, I struggle to sleep, so I have just done the most of my life trying to sleep better. Fortunately, my personal interest in sleep quality is well associated with my work as a writer of welfare.
Although technology has made it easy to access health advice, this information can sometimes be incredible. It is my job to provide readers with reliable, tried and expert -supported advice to make informed decisions about their health. That is why I always live on alert for new welfare points that are accessible, actually work and can make life easier for everyone who wants to improve their health.
Recently, I took time to consider who had the biggest impact on the quality of my sleep in the past few years. The first “sleep trick” that came to mind was the iPhone hacked that I had been using for five years. In fact, it has reached the point where I can’t sleep without it, so I’m glad it is made in my iPhone and is not a sleep device that I have to buy and walk separately.
What are the background sounds of the iPhone?
When you want to rest or focus, you can use the iPhone background sound features to play sound skips. These include Ocean (my favorite), rain, stream, night, fire, balanced noise, bright noise and black noise. It is mainly a built -in white noise machine.
You can enable the background sounds all the time, even when other media are running, and adjust the volume accordingly. You can also set up a feature that allows you to close your phone easily. I never tried it, however, I just activate the background sounds at night for sleep.
Background sounds are icon with three music notes on the lower right.
How to change the background of your iPhone
Easy access to your own iPhone control center to add background sounds, make sure you have iOS 15 or later. You can also add it to iPados 15 or later. Swipe below the upper right corner of your screen. Tap the “+” symbol to the top left and then “add a control” down. Scroll down in the hearing section and click “Background Sounds”. You can also find it in the above bar.
Click “Add a Control” to add another feature to the Control Center.
Once you add background sounds, it will be available at your control center. Simply to access the sounds, easily hold the icon of background sounds with three music notes, select your voice and adjust the volume. The voice of the sea is going to go long, because I like its stable volume and frequent waves.
You can choose from sounds like black noise, night and rain.
After opening the background sounds in your control center, you can also click on the “Background Sounds Settings” under the screen. Here, you can enable the sound all the time or when other media are playing on your iPhone. You may also have that the background sounds are closed when your phone is locked.
You can walk the sounds of your background all the time, even when you see or listen to other media.
Background sounds
While I love the background sounds and have been using it every night for the past five years, I have seen a problem. I used to set it so that when my phone was in a sleep mode, only some people were allowed to call me in an emergency. However, this feature did not work. Even when I got a scam call in the middle of the night, my sounds skip would stop playing and awakened me. After that, I have to wait for the sound to leave or be executed before I can return the soundspace, making it difficult to sleep.
I went through a part where scam blacks affected my sleep almost every night. So, I set my iPhone to silence all the calls during the sleep mode and asked my emergency contacts to reach my partner instead – he has already risen, so it works.
When the background sounds work
I use every night’s background sounds to sink out of the noise, but when I am traveling and can’t control the sounds around me so much, it works especially. I have used this feature in every hotel and a friend’s house in which I have spent in the past few years to drown noise neighbors, sharp music, dog barking, driving a car, birds, and even especially the Bozi Street lamps. I imagine it would also be great on airplanes, trains or boat (a full sensory experience for sea sounds).
The best thing is that it’s all right on my phone, which means I don’t need to buy a white noise machine or rely on a hotel or host. It’s basically like keeping a mini -white noise machine in your pocket all the time – because and where you know when and where you want to take yourself to a comfortable fire side or bubbling Brook to catch some extra zids?
