- Google Messages is developing a newly designed full screen gallery UI in the stable branch of the Google Messages Stable Branch and a newly designed full screen gallery of photo -sharing feature.
- Beta branch users are gaining access to the Snow Chat feature, which can temporarily silence the individual and group conversation.
Media Gallery UI and original quality media sharing were renovated
Instead of the usual half sheet, users now see a full screen UI when using a picture using the gallery button on the right of the text composing field. Button Full Screen Camera launches UI, and you can scroll down to watch photos and videos in your device’s storage.
After selecting a picture, you can also add a title that you couldn’t do before. The option of sending users to the media (described by “HD+” in the UI (UI)) also sees the media, which sends the media file into its entire resolution. You can choose the “Optimized for Chats” option to save some data, as it will send a normal, low resolution version of the image or video.
As mentioned in our original coverage when we first saw the change, the new UI focuses unnecessary on clicking on a new image. This slows down the process of connecting the media, since in many cases, you want to connect some media on which you have already clicked, stored or downloaded, which is now a two -step process.
Snose Chat
Google Messages Beta consumers can now snop notifications for specific chats. For users who have achieved the feature, when the chat is under pressure, a new snatch button appears in the toolbar in the upper part of the screen. Taping it will bring a popup in which they can select whether an hour, eight hours, 24 hours, or always to snap. User profiles also have a new snare chat option.
Snazing works for both individual and group chats. When a group snoops the chat, users can choose whether they want to be informed when they are @in the chat.
Snazed chats will show a clock icon on the home screen and a popup highlighting the duration of snips inside the chat. You can disconnect chats using the flow of the same process as you snatch them.
