Last year, Google and Samsung joined the forces to integrate their file sharing solutions for the maximum of the Android platform. As a result, the name of Android has been renamed as the name of Samsung on the Galaxy devices. Recently, we have seen Google and Samsung re -design the quick shares to look like each other. We are more harmonious. There are, because the immediate part of Google will soon be able to stop the download links from Samsung’s immediate shares.

When tapping the Samsung Cloud link, you can see that the immediate part of Google is asking to turn Bluetooth on (which is a check when it starts when the received tab). Once the interface loaded, Google tries to download the quick shares file and show a loading bar, though the title text incorrectly says “QR code scan”.
You can also see the text that “if automatic download doesn’t start, you can download from your browser.” We can either wait for the download to complete, cancel it, or open the link in the default browser, where you can download the file manually.
As you can see in the video demo, the feature is still underway and does not work. If it moves forward, it will bring another compatible user experience between the two versions of the Quick Share, which will eventually help the Android platform extensively.
