- Google has begun testing a new AI mode feature that develops interactive graphs for finance questions.
- The feature makes it easy to compare and analyze information over time.
- Interactive graphs in AI mode are currently available as a search lab experience.
Google launched Search AI mode earlier this year as a Labs experience to select users. In I/O, the company increased the availability for all US users, added deep search and project Australia to this feature, and predicted some incoming features, including the ability to develop interactive graphics for complex datases of AI mode. Google has now begun testing this feature for finance questions.
Google announces a new feature in a recent blog post, highlighting how AI mode can help users compare and analyze financial information over a specific period with their custom -made interactive graph based on their inquiry. As described in the following clip, “when asked to compare the stock performance of the Blue Chip CPG companies in 2024,” AI -mode compares stock price graphs and a table that dynamically updates stock prices when interacting with your graph.
Customers can also ask follow -up questions to get additional information or improve their questions. Google says “advanced models have been used to understand the intention of the question, tap in real -time and historical information, and determine how to help you to help you realize it.”
At this time, the feature only works for stock and mutual funding finance questions. However, Google will extend support to other topics in the future. If you want to try it, you can enable the experience in search labs, but note that it is only available in the United States.
