Apple launched the WWDC 2025 today (June 3) announcing its annual Apple Design Awards winners, as it highlights some of the best apps and sports available in its App Store. Looks like.
This year’s edition features the 12 winners selected by the App Store editorial team, which is made from a list of 36 finalists. Categories have changed over the past year, but in 2025 repetitions are the same categories that minus the local computing category for Apple Vision Pro Apps last year. The return category includes delight and entertainment, involvement, innovation, interaction, social impact, visual and graphics.
Each category sees two winners – one app and one game, so six categories result in 12 awards. Apple says the winners are defined not by downloading or revenue, but by commitment to innovation and ease.

Baltro-Dack Building, Poor Poker

Last year, Balatro took the world of gaming through a storm. Even the best video games of 2024, this was our choice. If you haven’t played, the game fuses poker, solitary and deck building where you add the Joker card with abilities.
Do not let the poker frightening you, making it familiar with the card game but making it fresh. This is “another goal” on your iPhone or iPad.
Honorable mention: Cape Words transforms items into stickers to help you learn new languages. If you are practicing a new language, this may be a fun way to change things.
Game – Accessible app development

Play is an app designed to help you create iPhone apps by allowing you to make a prototype in the Apple Swetto Code. It was chosen for its intuitive interface to support and design the app makers of all levels of experience. It can be compatible between your Mac and your iPhone so that you can move between the equipment as needed.
Honorable Mention: PBJ – Musical is an interactive music game based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. It features handicraft paper personalities and sound acting. It is smart and artistic.
DRAGE – Existential horror while catching fish

Draz is a slow burn horror game that is available on other platforms for a while. In fact, it was one of our favorite sports that you would have lost in 2023. It found only one excellent mobile port last year.
In the game, you play as a contract fisherman who catchs ordinary fish a day for a remote island settlement, but fills your nets deep at night. This is a disturbing mystery with a wonderful world to discover.
And don’t worry, this is not a blonde or excessive stress horror game, more invasive.
Honorable Mention: Taoobao is a purchase experience app design for Vision Pro that allows you to compare the product’s 3D model.
Art of art – beautiful puzzles

The Art of Fiona is a comfortable, beautiful, sarcastic puzzle game where you solve the puzzles by rotating visual elements or texts.
Puzzles are with the details of the animals they show. You can either solve the picture or text. It also promotes animal protection and participation.
Honorable Mention: Speech is an app that reads the text and turns it into audio. The app aims to help people with dyslexia, ADHD and low -vision, or for those who learn better to hear.
Watch Duty – Keep safe from fire

During the catastrophic forest fire of California earlier year, the watch duty app was essential to tracking what was happening with Palays and Eaton’s fire in these palaces in Los Angeles.
Through the user and agency reports, the app shows the applications for progress and withdrawal.
In addition, it is free and lives on donations.
Honorable Mention: Neva is a beautiful 2D plateframers where a girl and her wolf, Nava travels to the world and fights against bad seasons. It is heartbreaking and beautiful and you should play it.
Wings: Draw into 3D – Change 2D to 3D

At one level, feather is for designers and artists. At the same time, it is a delightful app that takes 2D images and offers them in 3D.
It aims for people with all skills and enables you to create a 3D model on the iPad using the Touch Touch or Apple Pencil features to make images.

Honorable Mention: Infinity Nikki is a comfortable open world game that continues the Nikki series that focuses on magical organizations. Fighter styles in the game are based on doors and not physical.
