I won’t be surprised if Google has an office in the Mountain View that has a handful of Googlers who walk in a series of Google Apps every day that suggest changes in these apps. Some changes are useful and help consumers save time, while others feel as if they have made Google employees justify their positions with the company. The latest Google app has received the latest Google Maps receiving update, in many years.
Both Android and iOS of Google Maps are watching a new form of logo shown near the left left below the map. Before refreshing, the four colors (blue, red, yellow and green) Google logos appeared in this place. Google Maps in Black and White says new shapes found in Google Maps version 25.21 and iOS version 25.22. Will the change help you get faster to your destination or provide a better direction? No. Perhaps one of the reasons is that Google has made this change related to branding, so we cannot understand why this was done by the next date.
Meanwhile, the new format appears on my Pixel 6 Pro Running Android 16 QPR1 Beta 1 but with iOS 18.5, my iPhone 15 is not on Pro Max. It still has the Google Maps Maps.com Mobile Web to appear on different types. Even despite the refreshment, the four -colored shape can be seen in Google colors on the right side of the search field with the Google Maps icon and Google Lens icon in the section of the app on the top of the app.

Although iPhone users have the option of using the Apple Maps and iOS Google Maps app, Android users can use the Google Maps app and the Web version of Apple Maps on some mobile browsers such as Safari, Chrome, Edge, and Firefox.
