Google and its search engine methods complicated and consequently a dissatisfaction trial has recently heard its closing arguments, and Tech Dev has already planned to appeal. In a post on X, Google confirmed that it would file an appeal, pointing out that the proposed solution had gone too far and “will harm consumers.”

“We will wait for the court’s opinion,” Google wrote. “And we still strongly believe that the court’s real decision was wrong, and awaits our final appeal.”

To challenge the dominance of Google’s search engine market, the Department of Justice filed a case in 2020 and obtained Tech Dev. The memorable anti -trust case has been permanently developed during the years, in which the DOJ proposed to open its search engine tech to open a search engine tech like Google, and to ensure that contracts were banned with default searches like Apple and Samsung. Chromium project.

According to Google, the proposed steps by the Department of Justice will open consumers “very real confidentiality issues”, leave the government in charge of user data and help “well -financing rivals”. Instead, Google offered to loose its contracts so that other search engines could be allowed on the equipment and a surveillance committee could be formed to monitor the company’s activities.

Since then, Amit Mehta of the US District Court, who presided over the case, was decided in August 2024 for the Colombian district that Google had an illegal monopoly in the search engine market. The judge agreed to the DOJ that Google, the owner of the Chrome browser, gave him an unfair advantage because he could use his search engine to run more traffic and receive maximum taxes for the company.

The final result of this dissatisfaction trial may be a serious impact for the AI’s future, which is closely tied to the search engine market. According to Google, the decision can allow other companies with AI Chat Boats to step into the search engine market instead. During the trial, Nick Tourley, an Open AI executive, testified that if Google was forced to sell it, the company would be interested in buying chrome.
