Google did a really good job with the Pixel Weather app, which is much more useful than the old seasonal app that acted to frog. Instead of a beautiful animation, the app is now filled with statistics that include an hour’s forecast, 10 days predictions, wind speed, rain, curiosity, UV index, humidity, air quality and much more.
You can show the weather for your current location or add more places if you want to monitor this season where your children are living, or want to know the situations where other family members or friends live. If you are planning a holiday or starting a business journey, you would like to know what to expect by the weather when you reach your destination.
The Pixel Weather app also features a weather map that uses a radar to show the expected rainfall in your area in the next six hours. With the help of a map, if you want to look more local on the radar in your area, you can zoom for them. If you want to see what a radar shows for a number of states near you, put the screen on the screen to zoom out. In a particular area, the intensity of the expected rainfall is represented by different colors that cover this area of the map.

Google has improved the design of the weather map by displaying time, circular play/pause button for radar, and radar timeline control. With the change, the bottom is now a floating card that shows some maps under the left, right and bottom card of the floating card. It replaces the previous form which has covered the map with a sheet below. You can see it in screenshots we have embedded in this article.
Most of you can understand a slight change, which is not a big deal, but it improves the app. Since both pixel tablets and pixel folds, both large screen devices, it makes the pixel weather app in different models of the pixel, already using the floating card design for the Pixel Weather app. The new version of the weather map comes with version 1.0.20250408.758982743 of the Pixel Weather app, which spread in the last days. This is another example of tinkering with an app from Google and improves the shape of a slight changing app. You can tap this link and install the Pixel Weather app from the Play Store.
