- Google is examining a new “Pixel VIP” home screen widget inside the app, which gives the key to information from key contacts.
- The widget allows recent calls, messages (including WhatsApp), location data, birthday, and notes for eight key people.
- The widget is still in its testing phase and can be released in the future to refresh pixel devices.
Google Google is working on a new pixel VIPS vegetable for the Google Contacts app. This widget can apparently make it easier for you to see all your communication history with people who are most important to you. We also saw that this feature could also connect third -party communication apps, which is one of the first integration. Now we have a comprehensive look at the Pixel VIPs Veeps Vegetable and how it can work on your pixel.

An AP tear down helps predict the features that can reach a service -based code on the future. However, it is possible that such predators do not make it public release.
Thanks to a source, we have access to the video from the Pixel Tips app to introduce the video. Take a look at the video below:
The presence of PAW print icons indicates that it is a “dug food” construction, that is, a construction used for internal testing. So it is likely that this feature will be included in the pixel devices in the next update, maybe with Android 16 Qpr1.
As the introduction is displayed by the video, Google’s contact pixel VIPs widget allows you to see more than the last call and messages (including WhatsApp), real -time location, birthday reminders, and eight contacts you compose as your VIPs.
Once the feature is finished, you can open it up and configure Link App, navigating Organize Tab, and tapping Pixel VIPS. Here, you will be able to choose eight VIPs. You will have to allow for the first time setup. Once you work, you can add the Pixel VIPS widget to your home screen.
Pixel VIPS Vegetable is 4 × 1 in size on your home screen and will show you selected contacts as your VIPs.
Clicking on a contact here will be the key details in the Google Contacts profile list, such as their birthday, last call and WhatsApp message, and location update.
Location updates also include local weather and time information, which is a good touch. There is also a section called “note” that allows you to add notes about that person. In addition, there is also a “thing to do together” section, though details are not available at this time.
Finally, finally there is a “see all” button. Also, with a 3 -dot menu button for the contact app, do not miss the quick call, SMS, and WhatsApp shortcuts on the header.
Pixel Bests widget is undoubtedly a clean touch, which will put your most important relationship on your phone’s home screen. This first repetition looks interesting already, though I would love to see Google extended with the “feed” widget, which can highlight the next anniversary and at any time, for example. Right now, it seems that you have to pull the contact card manually through the widget to learn this information. Correcting this information on the home screen will be helpful and we will all save some clicks and the embarrassment of the lost birthday.
