    • Android 16 Qpr1 Beta 1 app introduces the effect of blurring in the background in the drawers, guards and other areas.
    • Activation of the battery saver will disable the effect of fading in the background.
    • In the background, the matte pin uses more power, so the layout closes the feature.

Google created the first public son for Android 16 last week. The update introduced some major changes, such as physics -based dynamic images, upgraded app components, and new themes. A new background has also been implemented throughout the system. If you have installed the son and it seems that this blurred effect is working for you, now we know the reason.

One of the other visual appeal changes brought by Android 16 is a new background fading effect. This effect appears when you are on the current screen, Quick Settings panels, app drawers and guards. This gives the background a nausea look that makes you more than meeting with Android 15. However, some users have recently seen that this feature does not always work. If this is the case for you, then you want to check your battery settings.

Like activating a smooth display or increasing the brightness of your screen, the fading effect in this background can eliminate your battery. This is a feature that runs through the GPU, so it uses extra power. As a result, if your phone enters the battery sewer format, it will shut down the effect to maximize the amount of power in your device.

In the aforementioned screenshots, you can see examples of working with the effect of fading and not working in the app drawer. We have confirmed on our own devices that activation of the battery saver really fades the background.

The answer is just as easy. If you turn on battery saving mode, you also fade the background. Although we think the effect is good, if your battery juice is low, it is not worth the power drain.
