- The results of Google Search AI review are known to give inaccurate answers with confidence, and they continue to do so.
- The latest geef came to the scene when consumers asked if this was 2025, on which AI’s review incorrectly claims that it is 2024 and not 2025.
- Incorrect results with such confidence highlight the risks of relying on AI to check the facts. Consumers can close AI review for cleaner search results.
Update, May 30, 2025 (11:47 AM et): Google spokesperson shared the following statement with us:
Like all the features of the search, we strictly improve our system to update and use such examples. The majority of the AI review provides helpful, factual information and we are actively working on a refreshing to solve this type of problem.
Thankfully, the AI review result has now been settled for this question. Google search now identifies the current year’s properly, even in the results of the AI review.
The original article, May 28, 2025 (10:47 AM et): If you hit your head a few years ago and just wake up, the bracelets of yourself: the world is basically running through now, for better or worse. You are probably dizzy, half to half, and the other half is from all the AI chat boats around you. Once you recover from trauma and Google, if it is finally 2025, AI still can’t tell you whether it is really 2025.
The Reddest User Independent-873 asked Google Search whether this is 2025, in which Google Search’s AI review responded with great confidence that it was not 2025 but 2024. With curiosity, AI’s review found the date and month for the user, but its year may not be fine.
We tried it ourselves, and of course, AI’s review responds to the search inquiry with confidence “Is it 2025?”
In the actual answer, the withdrawal “AI answers may contain errors” unless you click on more, you are shown as much as you can, whose users are not empty of search results – nothing to expect more content. Anyone can be expected to be reasonably expected that if they include errors, the AI’s response will not be disclosed. Thankfully, if you ask Google “which year is this?” Question does not mobilize AI’s review and shows only “2025” in the piece, without error.
Someone can argue that if you want to find the right answer through Google, asking the right question is a skill. But in the time of the AI and AI review, even the most basic questions get wrong answers to confidence, and in any innocence they ask these questions, it will not be evident that the answer is wrong. For example, people have Google Google the Gabrush, and AI’s review has given them confidence but wrong answers. If you are disappointed with the lack of reliable information in such search results, you may consider closing the AI review for cleaner, more traditional Google Search experience.
Google has said in the past that AI review does not appear for every question. Instead, when they trust Google’s systems most that AI review will be high quality and helpful. When AI’s review is mobilized on questions where they may not be so helpful, Google uses these examples to improve stimulation. Given that Google Search continues to proceed with billions of searching questions daily, the company says there is some difficulties, as there are all the features of the search.
We have contacted Google for a statement on this latest AI review wrong PAS. When we learn more, we will update this article.
